Captain America is not dead…In fact he just won the HW title last Saturday! 
In a one on one battle, bare-handed, Capt would probably win it. Bats could hold his own to an extent but would be overwhelmed by Cap’s non-stop level of endurance and explosiveness.
In a reg. Superhero fight where bats his gadgets and, using the environment to his advantage with his intellect, he’d eventually outsmart him.
That nigga Steve Rogers will stay dead for a damn minute. They pulled this same shit in the last Captain America and The Falcon series.
While Marvel will no doubt hype this shit to sell books, I expect Captain America to return before either August or December.

picked up Mighty Avengers and JLA today. Both excellent reads.
Props to Bendis for actually bringing back Thought balloons and making good use of them. I didn’t think I’d enjoy Mighty avengers since I didn’t really like any of the characters, but I found the first issue quite a good read.
JLA was a good read too. Meltzer sure knows how to narrate.

I’m kinda shocked that they killed off Captain America but then again, good shock value = sales. Reading Civil War, New Avengers, and Secret Wars put me more in touch with Steve Rogers. Man was a true hero.
To anyone that has Captain America #25, what is the issue like? Did this issue cover the funeral? You know the turnout for that is gonna be freaking huge.
He’ll probably be back, though. Stan Lee once said “When you kill someone, you gotta keep 'em dead.” Since as how no writer really keeps anyone dead, he’ll be back.

Someone really needs to get working on a MSH/MSF/MvC/MvC2 tribute video for Captain America. It’s been hours and there’s not one up yet, this is a fucking travesty.
My friend came up with an interesting theory that the punisher will be the new captain america. Punisher has been a Cap fan boy since day one, rallied to his cause in civil war, said Cap was the only reason he fought in Vietnam, and picked up Cap’s mask (also in civil war I think?).
Could be interesting. I love what Marvel is doing, mixing things up a shit load and keeping things fresh!
