But seriously, Captain America was pretty boring, but still that’s bullshit, you shouldn’t kill him. Didn’t he die along with everyone else in the Marvel universe when Onslaught tore shit up? I thought just the X-Men and Spiderman survived (and how the fuck did Spiderman survive that, did he just hide in the corner during the whole fight or what?).

As a stand-alone character he is outshined by many other characters in the Marvel universe.
It’s more about what Captain America represents then what his abilities are,but that still doesn’t change the fact that he is a pretty boring character.

This sucks, but seems like anytime they want to sell comics of a certain character…they kill them. Then everyone gets all pissy and buys the comic…therefore they makers are like “people love this guy!” and all of a sudden he’s back to life next year.
Still sucks though. Captain American…you’ll be missed. Crappy way to go though. Why such a lame way? He’s fucking Captain America!!

With that being said, I did enjoy his comic book when I was younger, as well as the Avengers comics. R.I.P. Steve.
It’s not a fact, its your opinion. In my opinion he’s not the most interesting character, but he’s not boring. I’ll agree there are many characters that are more interesting, but in a world where comics themselves are boring he’s still recognized more than many others.
If they made a Captain America movie, you know you’d go see it. Same with everyone else that says he’s boring. If they made an Elongated Man movie… that’s anothewr story. He’s not wolverine or spiderman, but he doesn’t have to be. Alot of the more interesting characters are gimicky anyway. I wish I could exlplain this in detail, but again its just my opinion. Captain America is l;ike an anti- Batman for marvel IMO.
If you guys read Civil War, you’d know that Cap was the farthest from boring. As a matter of fact, he was a wanted man and condemned to prison at the time of his shooting. Does that sound like a boring hero to you?

FYI, there already WAS a Captain America movie. Came out in 1990, IIRC. And Captain America is the equivalent of Batman due to being strategic and a master martial artist(somewhat). He’s just not at the level of Batman in terms of pure intellect and shit. But still, he’s a master strategist.
