Is the method of zombification in Marvel Zombies magical or scientific? I ask because I see that Worlverine is not immune to it. But he’s immune to vampirism(Blade filled him with vamp blood).
So, I read the latest Daredevil on the can last night. HOLY FUCK GODDAMN SHIT!!! Too good. Things are definitely gonna go north from here on out. I smell something coming for good ol’ Matt Murdock.
Also, Ultimate Fantastic Four is the shit. I’ve come to admit that after this past story arc with Ronan the Accuser. He was complete badass. Even more badass than his 616 counterpart.
And as for the Spiderham book. It was…kinda funny. The search for the thought balloons was a cool concept seeing as how the thought balloon is basically almost gone in every comic.
whats it called? the episode this morning on my guide is called ‘artifact’ and says nothing about going into the future. taping it just in case…
That eps was wack, I didnt like how they made nightwing look and the ending was so corney, freakin’ for fake batmen beat mr.freeze he could easily killed them wtf
great episode. loved how they did Batman’s opening reveal showing him in his grey and black DKR duds and mr. freeze goes “Ahh, the dark knight returns.” Nightwing was cool too. Greg Weissman is your god
Yeah, first great The Batman episode. Jerry really did a good voice for Nightwing, he sounded like an older version of Dick Grayson’s voice in Batman TAS. Anyway, case anyone missed it Youtube has it in 3 parts -

I went into fye today and found Max & Dave Fleishcer’s Superman on DVD. The regular price was $4.99 but it was on sale for $1.99. Anyway, it has 17 episodes. That’s 2 hours and 22 mins of old-school, 1940s Superman goodness.
Also, Deathscythe, you changed your av. Floops to knews on the floor WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY!!!
DC movies has had a bad week. Joss Whedon has left the Wonder Woman movie project. David Goyer has left the Flash Movie project. Shawn Levy (whose previous works include “Cheaper by the Dozen” and, more recently, “Night at the Museum”) has taken Goyer’s place in directing the Flash.

According to the article, Goyer’s flash was supposed to be somewhat dark… like Batman Begins. This one is supposed to be lighter, which I can see working for a Flash movie.
Damn it. Why does every frickin comic character have their own movie nowadays? Sure there’s quality like Batman Begins and Sin City but there are much more bad comic movies like Fantastic Four, X-Men: The Last Stand, and Catwoman (just typing that hurt).
Honestly I just wish that “Hollywood” would leave comics alone. Even with the good movies they always change stuff around and are just wrong. My only hope is that they never ever make a Thor movie because “Hollywood” could never make it work.
considering the comics could barely(rarely) make thor work, I would agree. And good modern era comic movies still outweigh the bad
Because Hollywood saw Spidey make a huge amount of money and now EVERYONE has to get in on the craze. It’s only logical. Hollywood goes through it’s fads just like any other industry. And right, comic book movies are where it’s at.
I mean, what did we have before Spidey, Blade and Xmen? Nothing. Spidey comes in and makes a shitload of money and now everyone realizes that there is something in comic books to milk. Eventually everything will come to a screeching hault and we’ll be down to a few characters with their own movies.
Oh, and it’s almost impossible for Thor to get his own movie. And by ‘impossible’ I mean it would be horrible to watch. Thor so far has his Incredible Hulk TV movie cameo on his resume. And that doesn’t really help him at all.
It’s doable, but only with a team setting; it would had to be an Avengers movie.
If “Hollywood” were to make a Thor movie they’d try to make it like Lord of the Rings but it would probably end up like Eragon.
And a semi-cameo in Adventures in Babysitting.
I remember watching Entourage and Vince was offered the lead to play Aquaman, and I thought, “who in the fuck would do a Aquaman movie for real???” Then after a moment I said “…well it is Hollywood. They’ll probably do that shit just to cash in.” An Avengers movie would be good if it could be done right…but they can’t even get the animated movies right so stratch that.
I still want an Ultimate Spiderman/Daredevil TV series.
PLEASE link me. I must see this.
Yeah, I remember someone telling me about that Entourage episode. James Cameron was, at one point in time, attach to the project. Dunno what the fuck happened? But, I’m glad it ain’t happening. It’s a little to hard to sell Aquaman without the Justice League or a DC hero to guest star in the movie.
An Avengers movie would be dope. But, kinda corny in a way. I mean, how do you sell Captain America? The costume designs and such. Hawkeye would be dope as fuck though. You can’t fuck up that character.
Not really that big a deal. The little girl from the movie was obsessed with Thor.
Oh…I was expecting ‘funny’.
Still looks better than the dude that played Thor in the Incredible Hulk TV movie. Remember Daredevil? Man, that was as much suck as the Ben Affleck Daredevil. The sad part is, Hulk TV movie Daredevil was a lot more accurate.
sano I would like to hear more your thoughts on the Wolverine series throughout the ages. I think the Essentials books has it up to volume 6 or so at this point. I remember for a while there in the 90s Wolverine’s book actually was at the highest # issue of all the x-books because of restarts. Wasn’t there a time he had like no nose and walked around with a pirate bandanna around his face similar to collosus from AoA?
also anyone pick up any DC Showcase books?
