I spoke with the director af the gaming tourneys, he said that prizes are gonna consist of “gift cards and anime merchandise”. I aint complaining, as the tourneys are free if you score a card.
But yeah… i’m some bringing some $$ for some more $$ granted I spot the lucky pad kid who thinks his ryu is the best in the room

I’ll be there along with some friends at otakon for the 3S tourny to scrub it up with makoto o_O. Heh i go every year and pretty much spend most of my time in the game room. just look for a group of people lugging around custom sticks and i’ll prob be one of them heh. I’ll be carrying my finkle stick around o_O. Be cool to meet a bunch of SRK people and maybe set up some gaming at the hotel rooms as well.
There was a pretty nice Mai (nice as in the costume was true to how skimpy she is in the game O_O) last year working in the vendors area.
Will they even have AC? last year they had reload on xbox when slash was out. I’m doubting they will have AC. They will either need to have imported ps2 systems or modded systems.

I will be heading to the con on friday night with my girlfriend to meet up with a group of friends. I will be in the game room from time to time but I dont play any games seriously enough to wait around all day for a tournament. Last year I played in the the GNT4 tournament, though I have only played the game twice in about a years time so I am very rusty, and I doubt many people here play that. Though I do play a little GG, and by little I mean I only started playing it a few weeks ago. But still of someone wants some easy matches and to teach me a thing or two about the game then I am up for it.
If you want to track me down, just look for a girl cosplaying as a school girl with a wooden katana(Saya from Blood+). I will be with her all day.
Also I may have a stick with me, but it all depends if I get my new one finished in time for the con. I would bring the one I have now but its a little on the big side.
I think they had Marvel cabinets at Otakon last year, but I’m not sure if the comp is good.
