Osama Bin Laden is dead

I guess someone should let them know the only virgins they’ll be meeting are MMO players that die after raiding for 40 straight hours without eating or sleeping.

I bet Bin Ladi Dadi’s going to walk into a room in the afterlife and see a sans-female Comic-Con audience waiting for him. He’s going to run out and see the entrance to the real heaven. He’ll try to get in, but Allah’s security’s going to keep him out. He’s going to walk away, cursing the god he thought he was following.
Then Allah’s going to say: “I don’t see how you can hate from outside of heaven… you can’t even get in!”

Again, that was cornier than a fat man’s shit after thanksgiving, but I felt obligated. I wanted to make a comic strip out of this whole thing, but I have no artistic talent.

Pretty much closed the lid for me.

Nah. I’m sure Dr. B thought about it, then said,“Nah. I’ll rat him out.” Dr. B is chillin with some fine looking women in a pool full of honey in a room full of money.

speaking of which, I have a joke…

Osama Bin Laden Joke: THe good, the bad, and the ugly edition:
The Good: Despite not going to heaven, Osama did get his 72 virgins.
The bad: They’re all men.
The ugly: They’re all gay men he has had killed. :wow:

-Starhammer-

A military operation is conducted, killing people (amongst them, at least one unarmed), on the soil of another sovereign state, in times of peace. Am I the only one who thinks this is wrong?

No.

But you are probably the only one who thinks these are times of peace.

And your are probably the only one who thinks Pakistan should get a pass for aiding, abetting, harboring, and providing sanctuary for international terrorists.

an online forum post enough proof of the death of the most wanted terrorist on earth? that by the way cost over 3 trillion dollars and at least 600,000 casualties…lol…:nono:

lets a least see a link to the whole statement not just a screencap excerpt…even then it wouldnt prove much since trolls post on forums all the time…really, no video statement of these terrorists going nuts over the death of their leader? they were so furious they went and posted on a forum…yea right…

i’m not doubting bin laden is dead, i just don’ t believe he was killed during that raid and “buried at sea”…also bin laden always released video of his threats or whatever…how convenient that this time it’s only an ‘audiotape’…

The man is dead, how much proof do you need? Pictures will be counter argued as photoshop. DNA matches with a corpse would be counter argued as staged/rigged.
It’s just like the birther issue: people who do not like the president who believe the birther conspiracy will doubt proof at every level because they have made it a personal matter. Similarly, I feel this is somewhat related to the president: people don’t want to believe Osama was killed on Obama’s watch because they don’t like him and this makes him look good.

However, I believe in fairness if we will allow the birthers and the now non believers of Osama’s death to have their theories, we really shouldn’t be giving the truthers such a hard time.

If had been the Daily Mail or Fox News I would have been skeptical too. But I think the BBC are more credible than most news networks, it’s not as if they chase ratings or exclusives. I’m sure they’ve doubled, triple checked the authenticity of the source.

True, I’ve said the same thing about aliens visiting Earth, we’re now that so good at special effects that we wouldn’t know the truth even with our own eyes. Which is also why the whole fake long form birth certificate PDF conspiracy is so laughable.

I bet you could find a tonne of never seen before stock footage even movie pitches that could be passed off as the real event

As my German friend would say: “Zat is a very sound strategy”.

Anyway, more than anything, this proves how much of a waste of time, money and manpower it was to send troops to Afghanistan to begin with. Wasn’t the original objective to “Get Osama and/or undermine Al Queda?” Over a decade and trillions of dollars later, he gets done in by a small military unit in ANOTHER country.

I’m no military expert, but something tells me this could’ve been done a long time ago with only a fraction of resources being employed today. But NO. The US has to restructure Afghanistan’s government, rebuild their towns, earn the “trust” of the locals (despite the fact that they occasionally bomb the crap out of them) and god knows what else.

I’m hoping they’ll use Osama’s death as an excuse to finally pull out of the region, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

you cannot prove a picture is photoshopped unless it is photoshopped…

if the info released by the white house wasn’t so inconsistent there wouldn’t be so many doubters, not releasing solid, visual proof only helps make more people doubt.

Didn’t al Qaida come out and say he was dead?

Yeah, man. Obama didn’t release his birth certificate, so it must be FAKE. Remember that? I mean, why doesn’t he release it? He must have something to hide. Otherwise he’d do it. There’s no good reason NOT to do it.

Oh, what’s that? He released it? Well…I mean, why did it take so long? I didn’t release it right away, so I mean, obviously something is wrong. Is it edited? I mean, I’ve been reading some things on the Internet that say it’s fake, so I don’t know.

I mean, we can never know the REAL truth anyway, so* I’m just saying…*

:blah:

Why are people so fucking stupid about things like this?

edit: Here’s what you do. If no reasonable amount of evidence will change your mind, then admit that, right away, at least to yourself. Don’t go around pretending to be reasonable, when you are, by definition, not.

From now on, if somebody asked why it took him so long to release it, just show him/her this pic: http://awesomescope.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Funny_Osama_Obama_dead_birth_certificate-300x190.jpg

So are telling me that this nigga was smoking kush, eating butterfinger bars and shit, while drinking Coke and Pepsi and chilling in an gotdamn mansion?

Let me find out this dude was playing Call of Duty on 360:rofl:…

This just keeps getting better and better…

-Three 6 must have smoked with him at least once… nobody knew exactly what Bin Laden weed was until now:sweat:

For those who don’t believe it, in full or in part:

1: Which parts do you find to be discretitable, and how?

2: What evidence would convince you that the official story is true?

3: What machinations would it take to maintain a false story of this nature? How do they compare to the machinations it would take to pull off the operation as officially described?

4: What competing theories are there that match or exceed the consistency of the official story? What positive evidence supports the competing theory(ies)?

One sided fight apparantly

From what they’re saying, the SEAL’s got shot at early on, by the courier, then it was just a slaughter

Now lets not go and start giving the stupid people names like “deathers.” It’s annoying enough we gave the stupids a name like “Birthers” instead of callin it like it is. The Stupid.

Yeah until the US releases a photo with a hole in OBL’s head. Or some snuff video with Osama getting blown away.

Body double what?!?!

I comnpletnly beleieve he is dead
but the officail story has mutated and contradicted itself so much since T=0, that it is hard to blame poeple
and what the official story is mutating into is beginning to not sound so great. And this narrative is wht is replacing eveidence for te most part.

But essentially all of the new information is coming directly from the White House:

Bin Laden was unarmed when killed, White House says - CNN.com
Latest updates: How the raid against Osama bin Laden went down ? This Just In - CNN.com Blogs

So what is the thinking? The White House is trying to make people doubt the death of bin Laden, and/or make the mission sound less spectacular? It would seem more likely that they’re trying to clarify things.

Also, most of the details which are now being contradicted were coming from one source, John Brennan, who is their counterterrorism adviser. If you want to believe the initial version of the story, then that’s fine, but to say the discrepancy in details casts doubt on the entire operation is absurd and an overreaction.
