I work about 10 minutes away from the World Trade Center. That was a horrible day. Glad that there is some sense of resolution after all of these years.
A whole lot more of the same. Ridiculous amounts of security at the airport (likely even more due to the fear of attacks in his honour), an ongoing failing war, and high gas prices. That’s about it.
At the same time, the resentment in the Middle East that leads people to engage in extremist acts wasn’t spurred by college idiots in the US dancing in the streets praising BasedGod. Sure it’s embarrassing to look at-- like everything else teens/under 21 adults do-- but the motivation behind the brand of terrorism that caused 9/11 is a lot more complicated.

I hope this doesn’t happen. I have to transfer to another school that is really fucking far from my house and this is going to KILL ME. But yes I don’t think this really changes much. Can’t really say its a big hit to the terrorists, probably will just make them angrier and declare him a martyr. But at least its good to know he is dead.
its nothing new. its not like terrorists haven’t been trying to plan and execute their plans before 5/1/2011 or 9/11 for that matter.

Obama hasn’t won any wars, but he has gotten a long-sought after target on America’s list of enemies, which is why people are viewing this to be more analogous to GWB than GHWB. Not that the analog has any special significance here, but it can only help Obama.
