I disagree. If used properly SA2 can be a great pressure tool: one because one MP means unblockable, and also because a throw into a corner can trap the opponent there for the rest of the match. You’re not going to get that with SA1, no matter how hard you try.
Not to mention you’re probably only using it vs corner crossable characters, which means if they get anywhere near the corner it’s Oro’s win hands down.
He’s going to tell you guys you’re close minded and just indoctrinated by this stigma against sa1 despite the fact that you main Oro and he has some sort of knowledge and creativity you don’t have. Man, don’t you hate that shit!!
thats true
And we’re telling you it can’t.

not true at all, i think its just that those players who main oro or is a little good with him already have that sa3 and sa2 mindset, sa1 is just an other totally dirent type of super wich most 3rd players will just stay away from. if u play oro sa1 its an whole other difrent oro, and i just like that difrent oro better.
well it works quite well in the corner but thats about it, not forgetting those hard to land unblockables, and i already said before sa1 sucks for pressuring
its good but doesnt assure you a win
… you guys are closed minded and just indoctrinated by this stigma againts sa1 despite the fact that you main oro and i have some sort of knowledge and creativity you dont have.
no…ur just a scrub
SA3 does everything SA1 tries to do and better.
Period.

actually you can pressure anywhere on screen if you just feel like throwing out SA2. Most people end up being super cautious when a big ball is floating towards them which allows u to close the gap and keep pressure with pokes and ex fireballs.
I actually like SA1 and used to use it when i first started using oro. At that time i was using oro as a normal character, almost like shoto, but i realized doing so doesnt really unlock his true potential which is where SA2 and SA3 come in. Its sort of like playing urien but picking his SA1 instead of Aegis. Its not a horrible super but by picking that super you’re limiting the character.
Using SA1 is sort of hit and miss and when you’re playing to win you want to make sure you get your damage. This is where you get to maximize oro by picking sa2 or sa3. You either can get unblockables or guarenteed 50% damage and this is all by you’re doing. There isnt a guessing game to see whether or not someone is going to attack you on wakeup or whether or not you’ve timed the super perfectly while predicting you’re opponents attacks. And if you take away the guessing game you take away the potential for wasted meter.
Think about it this way…one the reasons chun li is so deadly is because its so easy to hit confirm her SA2. That c.mk lands and its pretty much guaranteed damage and if it doesnt you dont lose meter. Same thing with kens c.mp link into his super. Or dudley f.hk link into his super…and i could go on. Being able to assure damage without the possibility of losing meter that you’ve built up a whole match really is the smart way to play.
that being said i still love SA1 and its one of my favorite supers to use because there are mind games you can play with it…and shit…it just looks so cool.
When you consider that Oro is a turtle character and his supers are his best possible opportunities to do any real damage, you will see why SAI is practically useless.
Oro’s unblockables are so easy to land it makes baby Jesus cry.
If you have more than a bar and a half, and your execution isn’t awful, yeah it pretty much does.
Creativity sure, knowledge… not so much.
Sergio, why waste your energy on trying to reason with someone who is clearly a complete imbecile?
Oh, Bodler, your previous point about SAIII only being able to do good damage off a close mp is total garbage. Activating SAIII in the corner after throwing an opponent there almost always guarantees a good amount of damage.
I don’t want to see a potential Oro player go to waste I guess
what you just said there is very true though, i did think about it and realise it when i use him, but thats also what forces me,espacially using sa1, to force my offensive game up without using supers. Yea hes a turtle but if you really want to he can be sometimes dangerous without having to activate supers.
why dont you go play with your daddys cock and leave me the fuck alone? youve been talking shit since i started this tread for nothing, while your out there on other treads asking how to crossup?..dont say im an imbecile because i dont agree with the same things you agree on.
And i already talked about SA3 beeing a good pressure super so dont try to score cheap points idiot slut.
Bodler, you could make much better use of your time convincing Remy players that Blue Nocturne is the best super in the game. I mean, it counters Genei Jin and Houyokusen… TOO BROKEN!
