Is there a special way to play as Omega Rugal and the EX characters in KOF 98?(via KOF Collection Orochi Saga USAver)cause when I hold start nothing happeans I can only pick orochi versions of shermie etc but in 95-to-97 hidden characters are playable wth?
As far as 97 goes you have to input a series of codes to play the orochi characters and orochi is only playable on the mame hacked rom. In 98 omega Rugal should be in it from the get go just hold start on his portrait and hit ABC, or D.
im not using the neogeo version it’s the version in kof orochi saga collection
their portrait doesn’t change however you will still get the “EX” characters if you hold start… or select or whatever

Omega Rugal’s does change. But yeah Orochi Collection is the neogeo versions of the games, ported to ps2, wii , psp, and possibly 360.
The game has a lot of glitches. Maybe you should beat the rest of the challenges to fix it.
