I hate to dick ride on eventhubs, but they’re the best at providing up to date tournament and event info in a clean way. Besides that all their content is stuff from everywhere else they are just posting up for more traffic. Same thing that pretty much every technology site has except they each have their own unique writers and bloggers.
I should say this though, if it wasn’t for Eventhubs scaring SRK, SRk would not have finally begun with all the news postings on their front page. Remember when SF4 first came out for a few months, they’d NEVER publish anything on the front page, then I believe Kineda or someone else(not sure the name, let me go look on eventhubs for info) realized if SRK doesn’t start posting up to date articles and info eventhubs definitely would of stolen everything in terms of traffic.
Combo Video makers need to work out deals with sites to charge for their videos so they can make money, it’s just a bit late now cause of Youtube and the I want info now age.
I agree with the half assed backlinking that hubs does do though, Everytime somebody posts up something new, they should definitely link as much as possible to the original site.

I dunno dick about K-Sak but I can’t see her being better than C-Sak (who in turn is of course forever subordinate to A-Sak because A-Sak can do EVERYTHING C-Sak can do with bullshit custom damage to boot). No roll cancel Shunpukyaku/Hadoken for pressure strings, and I have no idea if her low jump is any good. If you’re going to play K but you’re “married” to Sak, divorce the bitch. She’s underage anyway, get off that Jerry Lee Lewis shit.

Seriously, though, at UCF you should be able to beat 90% of the crowd there without RC, so if you wanna play K-Sak, you’ll probably be fine. Just finish your combos, learn level 3 combos and uses for her low jump attacks (if it’s not overly floaty garbage like Cammy), and for the love of God don’t make her R2. I guarantee there’s SOMEBODY else in K-Groove that you can play as who’ll yield better utility as R2. (Hibiki and any one of CBS leap to mind.)

All Great advice actually Ben, You know the game quite well.
If you’re a “turtler” though C groove is considered the turtling Groove of the Game. Sakura should only be played in A groove or nothing. BUT C groove works well for her if you can Roll Cancel. Playing her in K groove is really a disadvantage to her.
I started as an N Groove guy which covers all your basics and I ended up in K groove which is really an aggressive Groove. Get hit a couple times and Bam Free Level 3 Super, Best thing for aggressive players.
I miss the days of owning that UCF arcade and some good matches with OG ucf players. If I ever had a weekday off I’d come out there, but that probably won’t happen.
Someone bring PS2 sticks tonight or something so we can play.
With Sakura not being my R2, there are a great many characters I could put in to anchor my squad. R2 low fierce AKA Sagat wouldn’t be a bad call.
But even A Sak not worth playing as my R2 then?
Either way though, go ahead and shoot me that PM. Knowing what characters work with what grooves wouldn’t hurt.

Not really, so builds meter so fast and do so much damage as a R1 there isn’t really a point to playing her as a R2. I personallly use blanka as my R2 basiclly as the clean up crew for vega,sak
If you guys start playing more I’ll start making the drive but without RC’ing you’re really playing any character at half strength.
It sucks that none of my home computers can even run the CvS2 emulator because they have integrated Graphics chips, yet my Low end Work computer has an Nvida chip and runs it perfectly. With a good working laptop the Cvs2 Emulators and TE sticks would be perfect.
Next Rockys tourney I will put up on the reg page an option for either PS2 Cvs2 or DC Cvs2 to see which gets more votes then go from there.
