That’s a pretty sick deal, actually. I’m gonna hold off until Black Friday. Yes, it’s gonna be a nightmare. No, I won’t be guaranteed whatever product I’m looking for… but all in all, it’s right around the corner, it’ll give you time to save some extra money (shit you can just put $50-100 aside a week until then and have an extra couple hundred bucks to spend), and lastly — your tv is fine. Just my $0.02.
I dunno man lg is known for shitty tv’s but you can’t beat if for that price.

I’m really looking forward to the Rocky’s Tourney on December 18th after a Good one at 3D perception Inc. 3D inc will be focused only on super and bbcs but as for December 18th(And since Florida is officially banned from the online EVO tourney so that won’t affect us) I’m planning to go all out to end 2010. There’s gonna be a lot more open space this time for good reasons I’ll talk about next week :).
So I plan on a 3v3 and singles for Super, BBCS.
And a couple throwback tourneys. Now they won’t be official BUT I’ll include them in the pre reg page when it’s up after 3D inc.
If at least 8 people pre reg for Marvel 2 on DC, 3s or Cvs2, they will be included as tournaments and I’ll make them official.
Also With NBA JAM coming to XBOX if other people pick up copies I’ll also do a 2v2 Single Elim Tourney for Jam all on that Saturday.
Do you guys think I should space the tourney over 2 days or do my best to just stick to Saturday from Open to close?
I don’t know anything about this particular model, but LG was known lag free only when yrs ago they were using IPS panel. They’ve since switched to other panels and it’s not lag free anymore. Again I don’t know about the recent development nor this model. If you did find a review indicate it’s lag free or close, I guess you could go for it.
My answer will be biased as I’m off on Sundays, and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get that Saturday off as it’s so close to holiday season — but I think 2 days would seal the deal so that you could get ALL of the tournaments done in ample time and fashion, and you’d be able to squeeze in side tournaments and even possibly stream Morton Matches if the equipment/internet connection is available. The biggest downside to 2 days though would be that out-of-towners would only have about 6 weeks of notice to plan to stay overnight in OTown, which may limit the number of participants (though I could be wrong in thinking that that number might be significant in regards to the turnout). Again, keep the holiday season in mind, I’m sure a good amount of players will be vacationing or have family in town. I vote you ask that question in this, Tampa, Miami, Jax, and other relevant threads to see what the response would be.
I’m leaning towards just Saturday again. I mean even with 64 people. 6 setups and starting super late around 3:30. We still managed to get the tournament done by 11 pm so I don’t think time is really an issue.

huh? uh no LG makes great tv’s the even outsource some of there panels to other manufacters lke samsung and sony.

Bwahaha, you paid for an app lol. Jailbreak and download appcake. I’ve been testing it out. It’s not a full flash browser sadly, but anything with a flash video, you just click a button, and the skyfire browser will convert it on the spot to html5 so you can watch them. Still can’t play flash games, but really who cares to anymore lol. It’ll load full flash sites just not games.
Yeah, mine iphone is not jailbroken sadly. I just want to be able to watch ESPN highlights off their website.

You can tether without it being jail-broken, but the other stuff is not going to happen. I thought you can do all that customizable stuff with it jail-broken?
I like the Captivate, its real cool. Also, we’re getting an new LG andriod soon. It’s the LG P505.
You can do everything mentioned with it jailbroken. There’s even a full android os port that works on iPhone. Only thing android has now over iPhone are all the malware apps and viruses in their “open” market.
If the psp phone using android actually runs psp games when it comes out I might finally try an android out for myself.
