I don’t think a lot of people actually go to the Geek Easy. Most of the people I know near University Blvd (thinking mostly Ed Jimenez and John Martin) frequent the Next Level LAN center more than anything else. For casual gatherings, I think most people find it more efficient to attend one of the weekly gatherings at Nestor Ramirez’s on Thursdays (or Fridays), or somebody else’s hosting on the weekend. The Facebook group is most frequently updated with hosting information.
Once the dust has settled a bit more from CEO, Torrin Fields may be restarting ranbats as a weekly semi-competitive gathering. This should be happening at UCF or somewhere close to it.
I’m busy tonight but when is the next time it’s going down and can anyone come? I think I’m gonna be buying an Asus monitor soon so I might be able to help out.
