Hulk’s damage is scary, but he still scares me less than Sentinel, because Hulk can’t lock me out after he kicks my ass. He also looks to have a lot more unsafe stuff on the ground than Sentinel does.

lol that’s why you have assists to cover his ass and getting in is fairly easy… Combine that with his super armor forward heavy into big damage ggpo. he may have to burn xfactor and 2 bars but hulk can 90% sentinel and that’s pretty scary.

I personally suggest just bringing it to play Marvel, don’t play arcade emulators at the arcade, Rocky’s looses business like that, and that’s just not ok for them seeing as how they’re supporting us with the venue! But that’s just me…

I have always considered Hulk (and every other character I thought about for more than 5 minutes) in the context of assist cover, and I don’t think stuff like drones/bombs does anything radical to make him super-scary. All you have to do is be more patient when blocking and save your pushblock for Hulk himself rather than his assists. He’s not a tri-jump character and he’s not gonna break your guard without help. If you thrash like mad as soon as he puts you on defense, that’s exactly what he wants. Super armor only kills you if you WON’T. STOP. HITTING. BUTTONS. JESUS CHRIST. LEARN TO FUCKING BAIT.
X-Factor just underscores the obvious with Hulk, and that’s DON’T FUCKING FEED HIM HITS. Go into the lab, find out how to cheeseball your team’s own patterns with Hulk’s pokes/supers/super armor, and start figuring out some baits. If he’s the last man standing with bars and level 3 X-Factor…clam the fuck up and wait it out. If you’re in a a position where Hulk can win even if he never touches you (say, 1v1, Hulk with life advantage and/or X-Factor, bar, etc.)…you lost WAY before Hulk came in.
He’s gonna find early success when people are still getting their sea legs, but he’ll plateau significantly lower than Sentinel will. He’s not gonna be garbage, but he’ll never get above mid-tier. The best thing he has going for him in this game (IMO) is that there’s enough emerging two-character synergies to just carry his big green ass. (Sentinel + x = a team unto itself) Let his teammates do all the work, and then Hulk comes in to steal all the glory with X-Factor trolling.

I just stopped by the Waterford Lakes one last night with my brother around 7:30. We were planning to hit up the VCC setup one more time, but it was already taken down by the time we got there, so we popped into Best Buy and sure enough, there it was with two well-beaten 360 controllers plugged into it. It also had a hard drive in there, so all the unlockable characters should stay unlocked. Not a big thing this late in the game, but hey, if you just wanna drop in and check something before you get your copy, there you go.

he doesn’t have to break your guard, if you are going to clam the fuck up and not press anythign, BAM command throw(into gamma tsunami if you want!!!). I’m well aware that consider characters for at least 6 minutes, but again i don’t think you give him enough credit. he can do plenty on his own voilition and doesn’t necessarily require anyone to carry him. his biggest trouble will be zoners but if you get rush down all it takes is one good read from him to pull a SA smash into launcher into super DHC blah blah blah. Him rushing you down isn’t the only way he can damage you…
Side Note: It’s funny when you get upset lol.
