-The tourney cannot be advertised in anyway, yet you’ve made an internet post on a busy forum about it.
-Now you’re acting like a victim saying I’ve punished you because you busted your ass making a proposal to a local Gamestop/EB Games/GameCrazy/Franchised Trade-In Outlet.
Other than coming here and proposing a “master plan” involving Jews, there’s no worst way to make an impression on the Marvel community.
The Marvel community is a VERY tight knit group on the East Coast. We play casuals together, chill together, break stipper poles together and introduce each other to our group of friends.

ive said it a thousand times on these threads that i don’t play mvc2 competitively . however, i do respect the ppl who actually help the scene for it. i knew that flip played mvc2 but i didn’t know he put in alot of effort to helping the other/up and coming players into the scene(providing transportation, hotel room etc).
so for a person to come on a fighting game forum, announce a tourney, and then say that you cant discuss anything about it is just a waste of our time. from reading this thread i saw ny players, md players and va players respond wanting info and then u say marvel is dead

so i respect flip even more for his replys to that guy whos “organizing” a tourney because he deserved to get owned the way he did.
Maybe it’s because I am real person with feelings, just like you, whether you know it or not. I don’t have championship accomplishments or run tourney after tourney after tourney every year, but I have something that this community has and that’s love for this game. I only made a tournament because I cared as an individual and a long time gamer, but I had too many requests from other gamers to ban chars, too many politics with the store to even make the tournament, and too much criticism from players here to really care anymore. You were being mean just to make a statement, and you made it. I’m not wanted because I’m a scrub casual who “doesn’t know anything about the game” (yet I still have my dreamcast copy of the game when it came out) and I’ve accepted that as such. I’m not kissing your ass or anyone else here because I feel that I was justified in some of what I said, not all of it. But the bottom line that you felt the urge to use racial slurs toward me and even threaten other board members and the store is only clear indication enough that I’m not wanted, nor is my “bull****” charity. We run honorable tournaments FYI; in fact, even as fill-ins, not to give people a pass into a final match, we’ll find people (non-employee personnel) to fill in the gap just to make it fair for everyone. But that doesn’t matter. I’ve had respect for EVO as an organization because it’s been around so long, but if I’m going to catch heat just for giving a damn and trying to please everybody, then maybe I shouldn’t have brought this up in the first place. It has been one misunderstanding after another here, leading in for everyone to jump on the gravy train. Yes, I made a messed up statement; I apologized for it and it should be done with since I’m a “scrub noob”, yet you feel the need to prove yourself in this metaphorical **** measuring contest. Well, you did. You have the bigger ****, so be proud of it. I’m sorry for wasting your community’s time with my haphazard announcement of a tournament, though I had no complete control over the tourney’s venue. Do you know how nice I had to be to my District Manager at Tilt to even have my tourney approved? How many extra shifts I had to work and the constant compromising with my DM/Manager just to get the most basic of tourney aspects approved, like prizes, start time at night, having the store opened later than the mall. I had to go through mall security for that one, I had to sleep with the mall security guard in charge of my area at the time.
**I fucked a god damn mall security cop to help get approval of the Tilt staying open as late as it wanted that night to run the tourney. She lived in a trailer park and had the body of a fucking sofa cushion and you’re whining about store and gamer politics.
