Oregon's Team Lofty Fighting System

I wanted to start a local/national Gaming team for fighting games and Shooters.

I realize there is many fighting games as well as shooters to be released as well as have been released in the past couple of years, and we are trying to promote friendship, competition and fun. If you are at all interested please check out what I have posted below.

Hello all potential Team Lofty members, I am Deluster. I am what one would call the "leader" of the team, though I am looking for all members to be equal.

This is a Team of players of many games. We are looking to support each other and push our team for various games into the limelight and more so get the fighting game genre seen more for what it is. Amazing competition and even more amazing friendships forged from a great community.

This is NON-PROFIT we are looking to promote our team for free, no fees to join, no cut of your winnings taken or anything of that sort. Nothing shady, a support group for our subteams.

Each game is going to have a team, or squad which is a sub division of Team Lofty. The point is to enter local tournaments, online leagues and ladders and get some streams and youtube content up for everyone to see what we do and how we love it.

I have one rule. No ass holes. If you are not here to respect and be respected as an equal regardless of skill levels, race, sex, age, sexual orientation or any other reason stupid people have needless negative emotions towards any group or single person.

We are Team Lofty and we hold ourselves high in our esteem and we are respectful at all times to our opponents and to our teammates. You Represent Lofty and our beliefs on progression and success.

Please Sign this if you have read the whole post. I ask that you fill out the following. Copy Paste and answer these things.

I ask that everyone be at least 16 years of age.

Check it out, This is a practice/support group to help everyone get better, get recognized and to promote ourselves, our team and our sport.

Looks like I’m out.

lol, Well Ronnicle, I mean bad people, I understand shit talking and all is part of the game, I am more talking about being a good human in general

team luffy is better

really? Is it going to be endless posts that have nothing to do with anything other than trying to be a smartass about things? I really want to do well for the community and stuff but if you are all just going to make fun and not take anything seriously at all why try?

you should come out to throwndown tuesdays and give people a run down in person, it sounds interesting even though im not much of a team guy when it come to FGs. A: where are you located? and B: is this going to have something to do with evo?

The community doesn’t know who you are. The majority of players here know each other because we all attend events/tournaments. Unless peeps know who you are, they will probably not be interested in this. Lots of peeps come and go in this community so most will not take this seriously from someone who hasn’t been involved in the community for a long time. I’m not trying to discourage you, it seems interesting enough, you just need to meet peeps in person in order to get them to join your cause ;).

Team Usoop Let’s GO !!!

That is fair, As it is, there is very little requirements for the team. Have a Mic/Blutooth, Be a friendly/Helpful person and be dedicated to getting better.

I do want to help people in getting ready for Evo, in training and eventually be able to sponsor players into events when we get enough recognition and support.

I haven’t been in the community for quite some time, and haven’t been to an event since like january, a tilt tournament.

I am located near sandy Oregon, though I do have plans to have sessions for team progression and league or what ever the players want to happen in a location closer to most people on the team. I have a capture card, so streams are possible. Not high quality, but its a start.

I will try and come to a throwdown tuesday. I just want to help people get better, unite the community with more events and more chances to play each other.

if anyone is interested, I urge you to please contact me through the site, or PM here.

I will answer any questions you may have and do my best to show you I am just trying to support our local FG community with more events, more chances to play eachother in person and get some recognition. Eventually this could lead to sending some of our better players to some majors. But that will take a whole team of people dedicated to our cause, which is to level up portland.

and as far as it goes to the team aspect, it is mainly just a support group for each person. We don’t have high expectations as to what we want our members to do.

Show up to online practices when you can, Show up to live practices when you can, Help out team members if you can. This isn’t a boot camp or anything of the sort. Just a practice team, and to be able to help eachother out how ever we can. This will boost our team, our selves, our scene and the genre.

I want nothing but good for everyone involved. No contracts, No fees, No loss of winnings or anything of the sort. Just a group of people that can help eachother get better and get things done.

In the end, I will absolutely come to the next event I am able to attend. I just want to help push the scene for PDX. This offer is extended to all of oregon anyhow.

Im not some tyrannical leader either, No one is better than the other, we are all equals on the team. If we can make more oppertunity to get better and get more events. Awesome.

Also, I have a rec room in my apartment complex that is able to be reserved as well as a local library with conference rooms to reserve. I also have a decent set up with minimal lag and 1 stick.
