Challenges and our first tourney challenge happened today! Very cool. I’ll have the ranking list on me at all times from now on, kinda barely made it to the tourney today anyway.
Alright, in chronological order, I believe the first match was a tournament challenge from Metal Health in 8th place for Slayu2’s 5th place spot, which Metal Health won. The next challenge I know was Wedge_Antilles from 12th place challenging Slayu2 for his new 8th spot. W_A is now in 8th place, and Slayu2 has been knocked down to 12th. Talk about pickin’ on the guy! xD
Angel and I played out his challenge to me, and I successfully defended first place. I expect the challenge at every session though, so see ya tomorrow. :tup:

Metal Health wins his challenge by default, moving up to fourth place. If you see someone on the ladder that is probably not active, challenge them and take them down! This is how it works.
Lol I’m reading top to bottom on the ladder results and man o man. I think it’s a neat idea but wouldn’t spend to much time on it. I can’t make it out (lack of car) to be a rank so I am automatically last when in reality the people I struggle the most to beat are

2)SamY
3)Samb
4)Simon
This is just my opinion to why this list is already off but please no trash talk.
^I agree those players are definately some of the best but you are missing the point of the ladder entirely. The point is to create competition, motivate players to level up, and also bring in new players to the scene. You probably haven’t played even half the people on the list before. EVENTUALLY, the ladder will be able to accuaratley rank everyone in Portland because the better players will consistantly beat their weaker counterparts. Give it some time and don’t be so quick to judge.
P.S. I see players consistantly leveling up on a weekly basis so in all honesty with the exception of BBH Im not really sure who the top players are anymore.

This ladder basically ranks the top active players. If you aren’t going out to events and gatherings then you aren’t active. SamY, BBH, and those guys are both active and top…they just need to join and challenge people.
For how long Portland has been complaining yet stagnant about a ranking system, I’m a little disappointed at the lack of enthusiasm for one all set up and ready to run. I think it’s funny how as soon as I finalize details and give people an option, six other ideas pop up all of a sudden. Well, I’m sticking with this one until every last Portland gamer is in it. You know you want to.
