hope this goes well, wish i could be there(and at Purest Cafe D:) but im goin on a road trip to texas for my GF’s winter break. so i wont be seeing you guys till next month/year. maybe ill hustle some texas hold’em again and come back financially ready to enter tournaments lol. might actually bring my stick with me and see if i cant get some games in with the players in Dallas

Hey whats up everyone. I’ve spoken a few of you in person but I’ve decided to go ahead and post this online to see where the community is at. Heres the deal. Best Bout Gaming is going to provide a hotel room for the peeps in the Portland area who want to attend West Coast Warzone. You guys do not have to pitch in, the room has already been paid for. We will be staying about 2 miles away from where the tournament is being held at the Holiday Inn Express http://www.hiexpress.com/hotels/us/en/garden-grove/ggrca/hoteldetail#Photos-Tours. Plane tickets seem very cheap right now but I know not everyone can afford to fly. So here is my proposal, I’m willing to drive my vehicle down to Socal if 5 other peeps are willing to ride with me and chip in for gas. Total of 6 peeps and yes we will all fit comfortably :). I would prefer to fly but I want as many peeps with me from Portland as possible so we can start showing a strong appearance at big events. In the event there are less than 5 peeps from Portland willing to drive down there with me then I will just fly and the room will just be used by the other peeps from Portland who are also flying. If you are from Portland and are planning to attend West Coast Warzone, post up or PM me and let me know if you are planning on flying or if you would like a ride down there. Let me know asap since plane tickets will only get more expensive the longer we wait. Seattle crew, if we end up flying and still have room in our hotel room we can let a few of you guys crash as well :).
i think the blizzard SC2 forums are pretty good, i haven’t really needed to look for any other sites except for replays which might have some nice forums too shrug. did they add chat rooms yet? i haven’t played SC in over a month because im tired of no chat.
on a personal note: i just got back from Texas earlier today, drove down there and stayed over my GF’s winter break. some of my friends in Dallas finally convinced me to get MvC2 lol, so Joe if you read this we need to hit up some online for fun. i finally got VF5 too, better late then never lol.
Also i was pleasantly surprised to see this thread hadn’t fallen to the waste side
