Can I kick it?: YES! Weekends aren’t typically the best time though…as they’re deemed “girlfriend time”. lol.
I’m not super good at fighting games, but I do enjoy them immensely. I’ve always played them in the past, but SFIV really got me into a more competitive mindframe…and thus, I take them more seriously now.
In particular, I’ve been playing a TON of BlazBlue. If anybody wants to get together for some BlazBlue or SFIV, I’d be down. Or if anything, just hang out and grab a few beers someplace. I’m always interested in meeting new cool people.

I am making the 5-6 hour drive from Tillamook with a couple of friends so if any non wierdo person needs a lift I can probably meet you on the way if you toss a few bucks my way for gas.

I do, I was out with strep for a whole week and a half pretty much. I sat in my bed playing HDR on Pad on PS3.
yeah it sucks you couldent make it to the tournament, i woulda liked to see the videos you coulda got. Tsunamiken and RayBlade had cameras though so we should be able to get at least the finals up sometime soon.
you play with scott and jeff(i think i was told thats his name)? i was wondering if they’re on XBL, either way if they read the forums you should tell them to post their info up here ive only seen them at Versis.
Oregon had at least four players place in at least five games that I know of, including a first place finish in KOF12 by Lord BBH and a first place finish in Third Strike by FatBear.
Good show, Oregon! Kicked some ass at new and old, let’s do even better next year! We got a 5v5 championship to win next time, too.

i also wanted to ask, since this is the Oregon area thread, if anyone has a dremel tool they wouldn’t mind me using. i need to enlarge the holes on my stick to put in some Sanwa buttons, but i don’t want to shell out $100 for a dremel. i would be most grateful!

My schedule is difficult, but I’m always down for finding some common time and trying to make it work. We could meet anywhere, though the easiest place for me is at my work (and if you need help covering the charges, we can discuss it).
Bio: I’m usually known in the Northwest as “the VF guy” because of my passion for the Virtua Fighter series, my travels related to the game, and because I am always trying to get more people in the Northwest active with the game. I also manage and operate a videogame center, Versis.
Another passion of mine is to get the Oregon (and Vancouver, WA) fighting game community together by helping to establish regularly scheduled venues and meetups, be it at Versis, Lloyd Center Tilt, Game Trader, Ground Kontrol, or even someone’s house. I love competition, but my first priority is community and the social side of the fighting game culture 
so when/where are the next tournaments? gotta get something in that “upcoming tournaments” list for people to look forward to.
