I just read now. Wow…you fought quite the battle. Personally, all I wanted to do with this was to get people to vote Minette as #1, while showing that she’s more than what people make her out to be. I feel like I provided legitimate facts in doing so and am content. If people like Minette now (or like her even more) due to this post, my work here is done. All that’s left is to vote her as #1.

No need for attitude, I have something to contribute to this thread as well. I think it’s safe to say that Minette will make it back up into top 4 again this round. But if you really want people to vote Minette #1, you would need to convince people to vote for Minette over Annie, another extremely popular character with cutesy design.
For one thing Annie is not only cute, but I’m hearing she has a fighting style similar to Sol Badguy, that’s going to be hard to compete against.
What we know about Minette’s fighting style is that she’s going to have a level up mechanic similar to Frank West, which is unique admittingly doesn’t excite me at all. Rush down sword style is not my preference either, but you have to admit that it’s pretty darn popular which could add more appeal to Skullgirls overall.
As a Beowolf/Panzerfaust fan, even I can acknowledge that Annie is most likely the character to beat in round 2.
Yeah, I noticed that too. Annie is the most lethal threat right now (along with Beowulf to some degree, as everyone who wants another male is gravitating to him, plus the whole “9 votes away” thing).
But yes, we made it into the Top 4, that can happen again no problem. But how do we push through to getting that cozy 5th DLC character slot? The only answers I can think of is more fanart, posting more on this thread and the Skullheart version of it, and try to get Mike Z to post more information up on her. Annie fans are VERY faithful, so recruiting them to our side is out. All we can do is campaign our hardest…and wait.
Appeasing to the Eliza fans would really help, seeing as they are the majority.

Hm…yeah that is kinda wishful thinking now that I think about it. I feel like Yu-Wan fans would help. I also feel like Stanley fans would too. Although… they might be a little harder to convince. I have seen people who want either Stanley or Minette for Dagonian representation, though. Looks like I got some recruiting to do…

@Bombs: It’s not so much that Eliza fans were the majority (theres the theory that because she won on the backs of so many secondary votes and when firsts were voted out by the final round, everyone went in on her), what we need to do to win is change Minette from a polarizing character (debatable that Minette may be the most polarizing of the top 4) to a desired, or at very least unminded, character. We need her ranked from 1-4 out of 10 on lists…
This is all speculation based that we may be voting on the AV method, however if we do the same series as round 1 we should have a much better chance. Annie will be our #1 opponent, Beowulf (or other male character) our #2. If we can gather the other voters, we should be fine.
Just presented some recruiting posts in the Yu-Wan and Stanley threads on Skullheart. I would do the other ones but I feel like waiting until some round results come out. Then I’ll know who to aim for.
I think you guys should go with ally yourself with the Annie/Aeon fans. They’re the other Top 4 candidates and there seems to be a lot of overlap between the fandoms.
Don’t think the Annie fans will even look at us. I’d ask the Aeon fanbase for help, though.

Anyways, I think it would be cool if as one of her customers would appear in one of her moves would be a rich dagonian with two bodyguards who’ll beat the crap out of the opponent. Then the rich dagonian would give her a extremely huge tip that will give her a whole lot of confidence
