So I got some info from the Gamestop i’ll be playing the tourney at and it looks like they are gonna use the stores 360 display unit (this unit is linked to all the gamestop stores apparently…)

The employee said that they have gotten pretty low turn outs overall for these types of events so chances are high a somewhat decent player, let alone a really good player can win. I need to check with either the store manager and/or the employee running the event on my lunch for more details.

Maybe I can talk them into at least having some Madcatz pads hooked up.

I can probably do the ones in Federal Way. I would prefer the one on Pacific Highway, since I think the Mall will be more crowded. Or is that what the comp is thinking…? MIND GAMES.

I just simply cannot believe that that many Gamestops are running tourneys. Wow. Well, I think I’m gonna have to use Balrog. Hopefully they let us set our buttons. I will be heading to the SuperMall Gamestop barring any unforseen complications (job, girlfriend, things like that ya digg?).

Man the broadway and jackson one is the one I wanted. That one is at PSU you know were I go to school and work. Is there anyway I could get that one and you could get a different one? Cause Im not trying to go all the way to eastport.

damn, uhhh i dunno i might be willing to just go the the lloyd’s center but i feel like that GS is gonna have more traffic… i mean im not scared of competition or losing but it would be nice to walk in and then walk out with a prize lol. what if you and me were the only people that went there? the top 2 qualify and get a prize

I not sure how busy the two out in Hillsboro are, I may scope those two out and see, I didn’t even know about the one on TV Hwy.

Maybe you and Manco can take Pioneer and I can go to one out west. I try to avoid going to Pioneer seeing im there most of the week.

oh yeah your right over in Beaverton thats like 10 min away from me, and yeah maybe we can find some unknown gamestops that no one goes to.

Ok so according to the gamestop site, the only thing you get for winning round 1 is a headband and some wristbands…

Count me out. Playing on pad for a SFIV Chun Li controller is one thing, but playing on pad for a headband and wristband is out of the question.

I’ll see what Manco whats to do, I picked Pioneer cause thats the Gamestop I used to get all my gaming stuff (and I work at Pioneer) so most of them know who I am. But im all for optimizing the best location for every player.

But then you get to advance and have a chance at winning the controller in the 2nd round. Seems to be worth it.

Well, it depends what Metal wants to do. If he decides to go to Pioneer, I will hit up the one on Evergreen Parkway no problem, the Sunset Esplanade one is WAY out in BFE.

Someone should play there, might be one of the easiest places to win. Calling out any Hillsboro SRK members!

Looking at where everyone is landing so far I may go out to Washington Square to play. I think the Evergreen Parkway one is close to me as well (My SF4 pre-order is there)

I’m flexible so if most of you guys are in town I can try to hit a store outside of portland.

well i was planing on goin to Broadway & Jackson but now there is at least 2 other people that want to go there… so i guess it depends if everyone is actually willing(and agreeing) to split up the GameStops among SRK members or if some people arnt concerned with that and just want to go to the closest GameStop and try to take everyone out and win. if the latter is the case then im either goin to Lloyd’s center or Broadway & Jackson, but if everyone is agreeing to split up id probly let Full Metal Ross have Broadway & Jackson and see which out of Lloyd’s center, Gateway S/C, Eastport Plaza, or Pioneer place has the least amount of people going to it.
