until i see some silhouette or bigger evidence i think that “here comes new challengers” in that picture is just reference to the 20+ characters that are being added to the arcade version. I mean come on, the arcade is JUST NOW getting all the console characters and also 2 new fighters, T.hawk/Deejay, 3 alpha characters, and 3 3rd Strike characters,
Alex, Elena and Q were all added to PSN avatars as well, so either these avatars mean nothing, we’re getting a shitload of new characters through DLC, or it’s a new SF entirely, or they’re going to have a bigger Capcom roster in CvN than they do for SSF4, or at the very least one with cooler characters.

I really don’t like the idea of two companies making two games of the same crossover. The same thing happened with Capcom making CvS and SNK making SvC. It would lead to alot of confusion.

Hypothetically, if there would be an Alpha 4, would the models of the Alpha characters from SSFIV be recycled?
It will actually be a new fighting game all together, but capcom and namco will be working on it together.
