Are you blind and not see the lopsidedness of A3?
I love SFA2 to death. I find SFA3 to be pretty cool yet easily broken. If there is going to be a SFA4, I hope it does not turn out to be low quality garbage riddled with bad ideas…
mvc3 may play like an anime game but everything about the promo art was intentionally not anime. or are you being this way on purpose
I never said it wasn’t, but A2 has glaring problems so many people choose to ignore. I don’t ignore them and realize it’s less fun to play A2 than A3.
One of the bigger problems I have with A3 is the fact the players start with full meter.
I’m sure it was done for a reason; I never got into A3 so I don’t want to say anything specific that would most likely be wrong as to why it was done like that.
It just didn’t sit well with me.
I haven’t met one person happy with starting a match with full meter. It was probably just an experiment because it was absolutely unnecessary.
This. Have all the characters from Alpha 3/Zero 3, but with Alpha 2’s/Zero 2’s engine & presentation (like with an announcer that’s not so annoying like Alpha 3’s/Zero 3’s, better backgrounds & more fitting music for each character, better art styles for the characters, etc.) & we’re golden.
I think A4 should be another prequel. Like, it would be set in a time period when most of the prominent characters were very young/kids/not even born yet, e.g. the late 60’s or early 70’s.
It would be pretty cool if Alpha 4 took place in 1972. I want to see homages to Dolemite and Black Belt Jones. We can also see a younger Bison, Sagat, Gouki, Gouken, Chun-Li’s dad, and some other old ass characters. Of course, the returning characters need a playstyle radically different from the other incarnactions
I think we are all forgetting the one character we all need to see:
Alpha 4 could be an advanced remake of the original Street Fighter. It’s as far back the series can go and still have Ryu in it.
+Goutetsu, Go Hibiki, Geki, Haggar, Oro, Q
too bad nobody gave a shit about the first Street Fighter. Even if Capcom did want to remake, it wouldn’t released under the Alpha series, it would be its own entity.
If it plays anything like an improved A2, I’m in there…
Unfortunately that is just a dream and we’ll get things more along the lines of bad 3D models, have characters go super saiyan, and stages with Ono in the background doing gangnam style with blanka toy in hand…
And I’ll probably ending up buying it regardless… Sighh.
Co-sign on having the original SF cast in there, would love to see Geki again.
