Can someone honestly give an explanation of why the online for this game is so bad compared to games that came out the same year? Even on a (supposed) 3-bar connection it’s unplayable for me.

I couldn’t even play ‘real’ KOF. I had more fun beating the last boss on Arcade mode. Most of the people I’ve asked just say the unsatisfying phrase “you’ll get used to it”, but who wants to get used to severely laggy play? lol Guess I’ll have to still to offline for this game though finding anyone to play with in my area takes nothing short of the planets to align.

Bad netcode. Even on 4 bar connections, the game still feels really bad for me. Pretty much SNKP designed an Arcade game first, all other considerations second.

Darn, that really sucks. That’s really the only gripe I have with the game too. Hopefully KOF 14 has good online.
