Ok so I just hit 30k BP and got that silver crown thing. I went on the leader boards and I saw that some people above 30000 have a silver crown and some gold grown. Whats that about, why is it different for some ? I’m just curious, don’t really give a shit… just wanted to hit 30000 before v 2013. ^^

silver i believe means master while gold crown is grandmaster.
Whats the difference, you get bout at 30 000 bp.Why is one master and one grandmaster.
Do the few people that first reached 30 000 get the gold or something ? (like first 10 get the gold at 30k and after that evryone else gets silver for example ?).
That I can’t say, but one things for sure. A lot of the crown players don’t play as if they earned their points. The only exception from who I’ve faced being tatsu lol.
Yeah I beat up few crowns before I got mine. Unfortunately there is not much competition online in this game. 80% of the time I play fucking scrubs and I get so excided to play someone my own level and have fun but its rare. I can be so much better at the game if I played good players all the time.
If only it was like SSF4 online. There are so much great players playing online on xbox live atm I’m quite suprised.I get blow up in Sf4 these days quite often and I’ve played it 100 times more the xTekken.
In X takken I’d get those fucking 50 win steaks in ranked like nothing.Its quite boring and anoying. I get quite salty wen I play for an hour and I don’t get even one decent guy to fight.
Hopefuly v2013 will changed that.
(Im in europe btw but I’ve gotten some surprisingly playable connections whit US, never had that in other games)

This looks to be a matter of how the ranking system works.
30,000 BP is Master
Gold (Which looks to be at 35,000 BP) Is Grand master
You can only derank when you drop a specific point of your current ranking. I know to derank from B to C+ you have to hit 3499BP from 5000. So figure out that percent and you got yourself how low you have to be from Grandmaster to go down to Master. So assuming that this is true that means 30%
So 30% of grand master (35,000) is 10,500 (I think im bad at math; I’m a calculator monster)

Well, I first got silver crown when I hit 30k bp. Then I played some more and after winning a match later on, I got the gold crown. After playing some more, and some losing when I tried out different teams etc, I were downgraded to slilver again. It didn’t take much winning to hit gold once again.
Now you may think that this has to do with win percentage or something, which would make some sense, but…
A few days ago I once again played some ranked matches, and after winning some matches and not losing a single one… BAM! Silver crown again… Makes no sense.
PS: All of this changing between silver and gold happened in the range of 29k-31k bp, so 35k bp isn’t a requirement for anything. Also I remember when Tatsu hit 30k bp on PSN, he had a win percentage of 91% or something, and he still got silver crown first!
