September all ready and still No patch huh?

You guys think they’re still waiting for people to opt in with more stuff? I have found a few new ones.

Keits got butthurt on Twitter that I complained that his precious DiveKick got a patch before the 3S patch came out…

I just got this game, and I was shocked not to see a patch. Shame on you, CAPCOM and Iron Galaxy.

they sent it out for review but apparently it came back. so they’re just fixing any problems with whatever those things are. which don’t have to do with the game itself but however the patching procedure works or any lines they crossed within the patch itself and need to revise.

i can’t imagine they would be adding any new fixes. just fixing their fixes.

I just can’t wrap my head around the idea that a new generation of consoles have been talked about, made, and will be released before we get our fucking patch.

Because after the patch is out it can become an ongoing joke about sill waiting for the next patch.

Dander and several of us always ask for more things to consider changing and fixing. And this could be the last SF3 port ever. So you gotta have some hope!

Is PaRappa fun? Or is akuma’s teleport like totally broken

PaRappa actually had some catchy music. Where is my HD port of that shit!!!?

Funland and I were just noticing yesterday that something bugged out again with this game, and can be fixed with a patch!

Looks like they stopped again. One time it was down for months.

Also we had some games where we broke Akuma’s teleport to showoff by putting them on youtube. Some Super Art 3 Activates stopped the Teleport in place, not just like that taking away Seiei Enbu shadows. So it was timed pretty good? Akuma can get out of that Denjin/Aegis/more, but this Denjin activate stopped him in the place he started, midscreen. Another one of those “fullscreen denjins…”

And Funland’s was Oro SA3 level 2 with the 5 juggle rocks. Both Oror hands to his head to concentrate.

And I played a guy who had Louis gameplan but in a flowchart, taunt taunt taunt stomp stomp. He got “pwned” as Louis would say and died to a low short, saying “Jesus,” with the Ken taunt to be extra cocky saying getup but he can’t. Names withheld to protect the innocent, just called that one: “Alex taunt isnt as Cool” but I guess its kinda made cooler by cancelling a normal move into that taunt, gotta find the right one though, he doesn’t have many.


All that out of the way, yeah Parappa is dope. The other video of a playthrough had a guy button mashing though, ruining the song. >:[

Just a thought and I doubt this will happen but would lowering graphics and removing bgm improve online play? less things to load?

I already play with the volume off because roll back sound on OE.

if it increased performance significantly, I’d be ok with no bgm, and some shitty simple looking stage like the training stage in other Capcom games.

Is that what some people also do in FBA options when playing on GGPO?

The hitboxes expanding/contracting when the character moved 1:1 as seen on Game Restaurant if they were true kinda showed how much information is sent through every frame played in the game. We heard that before but with more information like that,

No wonder the game doesn’t work online.

The option to remove announcer, sfx and bgm would be great. I thought about maybe asking for that but then thought that it was a silly request. It would certainly make things load quicker considering that the announcer isn’t consistent and gets called “out of the blue” once certain things have happened on the screen.

I don’t think you get the option to remove sound on ggpo because last time tebbo tried playing with sound off it would keep giving him a assertion failed crash report until he turned it back on.

OE sounds are the best

there is no hit or block sound, there is only rollback sound. which is a combination of both. it sits in a quantum state of indecision for a moment in time, not unlike a cat with peanut butter toast strapped to it’s back.

2D games don’t tax the system or network with data pretty much at all, so disabling sound or picking a simple stage will have no effect on the online since it’s the whole online aspect that’s shitly coded. Besides, if you disable sound on GGPO it won’t connect since it syncs via sound for some reason, tested this.
