I thought I was going fucking crazy… My a don’t work for shit an resets by pressin guide also but works on admin always …I got screwed by capcom again … Only on 3s every other game works perfect except 3s
If you actually SEE rollback, that means your connection with the person you’re playing is crappy. Either you or they have a bad connection. If they’re on WIRELESS, it will seem random b/c of spikes. Somehow, you’ll need to find people with a better connection.
IIRC, supercade had a huge input delay as opposed to GGPO’s rollback. I remember having to count a full second before my moves came out on supercade.
My damn replays disappeared!

2nd wind FTW
Here is another glitch that I have had happen to me. I was in a player match, three players in the lobby. When the game took us back to the player start screen, the original host left and made the other player in the room host. Then that person left and I was made host. When that happened I wasn’t able to back out and close the lobby or anything, I had to dashboard out. Anybody else have this happen to them?
So here’s two bugs I’ve encountered:
-
Ryu’s Trial 4: The dudley glitch combo (or whatever it’s called). The throw doesn’t register a second time if super doesn’t come out the 1st time you try the combo. Happened to me when I failed the 1st time and got it the 2nd time…but had to do it again because the throw didn’t register.
-
I know it’s been said that the game freezes after winning a ranked match at the achievements screen. But what happend to me after I had to restart my game is that all my data - excluding my online ranked data - was deleted and I have to do everything again.
The 2nd on I mentioned, did this happen to anyone else?
EDIT
Also, why isnt there a widescreen option for those w/o HDTVs? Especially since I like to do those challenges and I would really like to see how I’m progressing.
Played an Elena vs Twelve match. The Twelve had X-copy and when he transformed, Elena’s voice didn’t have the Twelve Synthesizer to it. Sounded just like my character.
The widescreen option is in the PS3/Xbox menus. You have to set the display resolution to widescreen before the game starts. Yeah I was wondering about that too with my CRT, and I was able to fix it this way.
Apparently on VGA cables for the 360 on square displays, if you use a 4:3 resolution, it still letterboxes no matter what.
Resolution tested: 1280x1024
Someone online just glitched the connection by going towards the corner as Chun Li and spamming punch.
Bugs and other problems I’ve noticed that OP didn’t mention, in no particular order:
[LIST=1]
[]Stage background music sometimes stops playing, whether online or offline.
[]Changing the number of rounds in the option settings for arcade mode seems to have no effect.
[]When in a lobby, no matter how many wins I accumulate, the counter always stays at “1.”
[]I often get kicked back to the bottom of the line and have to press X to ready up and wait my turn again. Sometimes this happens in between other people’s matches, sometimes it happens even when I’m on a win streak.
[]Connections are very unstable/hit-or-miss, as far as just joining rooms goes. Half of the rooms I join, while I’m spectating a match, I get a message notifying that the player has left, then it indicates that it’s migrating hosts, and then I end up in a lobby all by myself.
[]Some rooms report they are full when it seems that they most likely are not. Example: I try joining a room with about 5/8 players, it says full, I refresh the search, and the room is still there with only 5/8 players.
[]In my opinion, matchmaking for ranked matches is atrocious. They tend to be way more lagged than non-ranked in my experience, and you don’t really know what you’re in for until the match starts. Also, it takes a really long time to find someone, and I keep getting a message that says the session has failed.
[]Ping indicator seems to be useless. I have no scientific evidence to support this, but I really notice no difference in connection quality based on the ping indicator.
[*]Sometimes spectator mode doesn’t work.

Is anyone else seeing inconsistencies with their ex moves offline? I’ve had a number of instances where my move was not ex’d even though I was inputting 2 buttons. In addition to that I’m getting dropped inputs or something. Super cancelling on hit and block while facing the player 1 side is very hit or miss. Raw supers come out fine. My execution is good from what I can tell. I don’t have these problems on ggpo or on my DC.
That was an existing glitch in the arcade version also.
what?
I thought the background music cutting out was stylistic for the new soundtrack. Reason being, the first round is always the full remixed track, then the second round is the breakdown version of that track, then whenever I get to a Final Round situation, the music is silent. Maybe I’m wrong about it being stylistic, but I’ve actually never gotten to a final round that had music playing.
No it wasn’t…
This is because of the way GGPO works, it rolled you back.
Come on, not that again.
If you experiences this on Supercade, it’s exactly for the same reason you gave above in your post for the rollbacks.
Arguably (but i don’t feel it), there is a slight more input delay than with GGPO pc, but that’s it.
And since the last beta version of pc ggpo, Supercade was way more usable overall.
No glitches to report yet, but it sure would be nice to disable the 3P and 3K macros, and to pause training mode without resetting it.
just had my game freeze out of nowhere. had to restart my xbox. sick
Was playing tournament mode, one round a piece Urien vs. Alex on Gill’s stage, third round is about to start AND… I’m back at the tournament bracket screen and I lost.
Either I got my ass whooped so bad I repressed the memory, or that was fucking stupid.
