Online Edition Bugs and Glitches (Problems) List

PS3:

While waiting for a match on the lobby, I was on deck for the next match…until I was placed at the bottom of the pack (about 7 people were in the lobby). I didn’t play my match at all, I didn’t press anything that would force me at the end of the line. Weird.

I’ve have the 4 billion disconnect.

I’ve also had the round start without going back to the lobby or rematch screen, did the inverted colors, playing the other persons character thing.

I was also the second match in a tournament, the first match was two Kens, we didn’t get to pick ours, it gave us both Ken as well except we were invisible.

Playing on a 360, with a green NAT and overall pretty good connections.

FYI the filter names are switched on 360 as well, and the options don’t seem to apply to single player for me either.

Exactly this, pressing the Home button on Xbox360 helps reset the buttons somtimes… make them start working again in a crunch…
the buttons never crap out during out of match menus though…

Yeah, for me it’s usually the A or B buttons, I don’t think i’ve had any other button screw up for me…

I havn’t played any online matches yet, … It’s frustrating enough doing trials and training mode with buttons cutting out, I swear i’ll throw my stick at the monitor if i try playing online…

Are the filters mislabeled on the PS3 version? Crisps looks smoother than Smooth.

in a ranked match, at the character select screen only about 1 out of 5 inputs were getting through. i had to keep pressing directions repeatedly to move the cursor. my stick worked fine seconds later (the other person left the match at the character select) in single player modes. i encountered the same person a bit later and this problem wasn’t apparent.

mr. x: yeah, crisp looks the smoothest (heaviest filtering effect) of them all on my crt. pretty sure they’re reversed.

I am having the same problem as another member here. Using a custom arcade stick, having a 360 MadCatz pad wired onto a PS3 Chtulhu Board. I can only assign a maximum of five buttons. L2/R2/LT/TR are not wired from the pad and board. Playing on the EU Xbox 360 download.

Is this due to the fact that you cannot unassign the L2/R2/LT/TR buttons? Every button on the arcade stick is working perfectly. They work when selecting during the menus in the game. Also, sometimes all three punch buttons (individually) will stop working as well, then mysteriously all kick buttons work. I plugged in a normal controller to check if the game was bugged independently of a custom stick. Seems to be working fine with a regular joypad.

MP: “forte” ( “strong” - wait, what? )
HP: “violento” ( “violent” - well, obviously a VIOLENT punch is stronger than a STRONG one…)
LK: “calcio debole” ( “light kick” )
MK: “in avanti” ( “forward” WTF?!? )
HK: “cazzotto” ( “punch” - cool, a hard kick that is actually a punch, that makes sense)

Just ran into a wired ass glitch. Was in a Player match lobby, and when it was my turn the game automatically started. However when the game started the other character was discolored and I was invisible! Game automatically picked the same character ans Super Art I used the last game(Alex SA2). Will try to upload a video when I have time.

Capcom is lazy

Looks like capcom was trying to name then after the old school button layout:

LP=Jab
MP=Strong
HP=Fierce
LK=Short
MK=Forward
HK=Roundhouse

But failed miserably lol.

For some of you guys that can’t see the sidebar thing/change visual settings try changing your consoles TV type. On 360 I had to change it to widescreen.

“Strong” and “forward” are terms used in the english version too.

edit: Gamebreaking bug - Moves like Ibuki’s Radia and Neckbreaker count towards the “perform X throws” achievement, despite not being throws.

The match freezes when I’m in speculator mode. It will stay frozen on the character intro animations. Is this a GGPO related problem?

I’m just searching and reporting bugs that I don’t see posted in this thread so it’s all in one place.

When you rematch in Player matches, it saves your character choice but not your super.

I don’t know, GGPO OE has issues that didn’t exist on GGPO PC. For example, sound effects and character voices did NOT rollback on GGPO PC.

How is that gamebreaking?
