i have a few questions

-Does oni have ryus ability to juggle an ex fireball, an ultra or a second srk after hitting an airborne enemy with srk?.
-Does he have an equivalent to ryu/ken cr.MK??
-Whose air.MK does he have? ryu, ken or akuma?

1 : You can SRK > SRK if you hit high. Probaly ultra and don’t know for fireball.

2 : He has the exact same Cr.MK as Ryu ( The new AE one )

3 : Same as Ryu, Note that his Neutral Jump MP knockdown and has an interesting hitbox.

what is the best way to hit u1’s cinematic version?
and say i want to prepare myself for his links…who,in Super,has the most reminecent links to Oni?

Full animation of U1 can only start at close range ( Close as a throw range ).

1 : Punish without comboing the U1 ( Ex : You minded a flash kick, you block, you get close, you U1 )
2 : Combo that finish by EX fireball > FADC > U1 / U2. ( EX : Target > Ex fireball > FADC > U1/U2 ) Timing is strict.

Your oponnent must be close and on the ground.

Imo, the ultra of choice would become U2. First reason, it does something like 515 damage.
Then, the ex slashes after a period of time, ppl start to break / block it.

Edit : I’m searching for reminescent translation I’m not english ^^. Do you mean what character can you take for example to play oni ? I would say Ryu. If you want to end by the target combo after opening the oponen’s guard, no Plink needed. It’s easy. Oni is really easy to play. Easy as Ryu. He has the same Cr.MK /MP.

after an airborne lp srk, i usually follow with hk tatsu though dependin on spacing, mk tatsu since itll deal more damage

not sure if another srk follow up does more damage but spacing wise i think tatsu is better.

iirc his jumping mk is similar to akuma’s (he is an evolved akuma anyway so a lot of his moves are similar to him)

i didnt know ryu’s neutral jump mp has an interesting hitbox…

if im not mistaken, oni’s neutral jump mp only knocks down if hit air to air, if the opponent is standing and you hit them, it wont knock down (not 100% sure, its been awhile since i last played him)

besides from ex fb fadc ultra for full animation(requires 3 bars), you can also mk tatsu xx fa level 2 crumple ultra(2 bars) for full animation.

I meant Oni’s Hitbox… And yes It knock down only Air to Air combat. Was I that missunderstandable ? :confused: No irony I’m not English, doin’ by best

i understood you well, although you misunderstood the poster you were replying to because he asked about jumping MK… and you went on and talk about neutral jump MP. as for the air to air thing, i just added an extra info since you didnt mention it in your post.

and the mk tatsu fa crumple U1 combo…is my opp.being juggled or is it the first hit of tatsu?

and Finally, is counterhit/anti air forward roundhouse is cancelabe? if yes, can i tack on a Fierce Slash?

  2. I’m 99.9% positive you can’t cancel from f+hk. You can juggle with ultras in the corner though.

Anyone know Onis colors? I was happy when I saw red Oni but then noticed his pink hair… Someone please tell me there is red Oni with white hair!?!

i got another question.

Oni can cancel some of his air dashes into air Tatsu so my question.

Canceling an air dash into air tatsu increases or decreases air dash recovery after landing?

Air dashes have some recovery when landing so im wondering if this is a possible strategy to increase range and decrease recovery.

Most likely it will be the same recovery on landing as a normal air tatsu (i.e. it can be punished if it whiffs).

ya but is it shorter than air dash recovery? thats my question.

I would imagine that it’s shorter than the air dash recovery, but not by too much. Dash looks like it’s incredibly punishable, but neither should just be thrown out at random.

I cant seem to find out oni’s Stamina/Health, is it the same as Akuma’s? 900 I think?

No its 950 health BUT what I’m curious is that ONI’s stun damage isn’t known so I’m curious as to how much stun damage he dishes out?

There are videos of shin oni and shin e.ryu but does anyone know the reguirements for getting those bosses?

Also is there going to be gamerpictures of Oni?
