Uh… s.hk, lp jet upper, hp jet upper definitely works on every shoto at any range, the timing is not difficult. It’s when you throw in light punches before the s.hk mid screen that things get iffy.

i believe that does work. The thing is though it really depends on what combo you are using, and even then also how far you are from the person at the start of the combo.

We will need video to be sure, (i’ll check myself and edit in a few hours if no one else has by then) but i believe shk -> lp upper -> hp upper, works on RYU if you start the combo at point blank range. But will WIFF if you start the combo at S. HK’s max connectable range.

Its all about the ranges. And even then on some characters feel like it wiff’s But then will connect if you walk foward a frame or 2 before doing the last HP JU (:dp::r:HOLD:hp:)

Well, I made a really shitty video of it, point blank version. For some reason the quality is garbage and it’s realllllly sped up, but I didn’t have time to fix it, I’m gonna make a sort of tutorial video when I get the chance, but for now.

Doesn’t that work also without counter hit?Judging by vanilla sf4 hard jumping attacks, they usually deal 18 frames of hitstun (ryu’s nj.hp deals 20, so it’s an exception) .There are 4 frames of landing recovery, so if you hit it the deepest possible, you should have 14 (18-4) frames of advantage, and framedata says dudley’s cr.hk has 14 frames of startup.I don’t have the game though, so can’t test.If it really doesn’t work then i apologize.

The only reason you should ever be doing the EX MGB is to set-up into juggle > ultra

It works midscreen, but that is the ‘CORNER’ damage and stun.

Amended, also KOH, were you able to get the lp jet upper > lp mgb on cody mid screen? I’ve been unable to do it so far.

Umm…The rose resets them, so you can’t combo after.

Maybe there is something I’m missing? The computer is on autoblock.

But he’s jumping, so he jumps isntantly after he hits the ground, negating the auto block put the Cpu to do that to you, and you’ll se you’ll block it.

Okay so checked a few things.

[]non-counterhit j.hp/j.hk -> cr.hk definitely does not combo as far as I can tell.

]cr.lp xx cr.lp -> s.hk xx jet upper works best on small characters. Abel, Sagat, Guile, and Thawk all have problems with the combo. Against these chars you should never do a hit-confirm into jet upper, just hp/ex mgb. However, this is not an all-inclusive list. Also, lp upper -> hp upper does not work on Guile. Against many characters you can’t ultra afte cr.lp xx cr.lp -> s.hk -> lp jet upper. Finally, hp jet upper seems to whiff a hit sometimes. The more I test jet upper combos, the less I think you should do them as BnBs if you’re hit-confirming into them with jabs. f.mk -> s.hk xx jet upper does seem far more solid though.
[]Mid-screen EX MGB -> ducking straight -> ultra is more solid than I though. It doesn’t always get all the hits but it’s probably still worth it. However, EX Mgb -> ducking straight -> jet upper/super is garbage.

]The best followup to a mid-screen EX jet upper fadc is cr.hk without ultra. With ultra you should do upper FADC cr.hk -> ultra because it does 12 less damage than naked upper FADC ultra with max ultra but it is so much more reliable because you don’t have to worry about the autocorrect bullshit because they won’t be directly above your head when you ultra. Otherwise if you’re too close you can actually ultra underneath the opponent. And then if you don’t have full ultra the cr.hk combo ends up doing more anyways.
