One random fact about yourself pertaining to Fighting games

Yeah thats a problem when no one around plays fighting games, thanks god we have kaillera, 2dfighter and GGPO. Most people around me play either Counter-Strike or Blizzard’s strategies (in best case), in worst case they drown in MMORPGs and DOTA. This is worst case because in MMORPGs you dont gain skill that you always have with you; anybody can just buy a highlevel character and become tougher, and I dont see sense in those games. Apparently Sirlin cannot see it either

^ This guy has a solid Vega.

He fucked me up royally in player matches the other day with Claw.

I have always had trouble against Claw…anyone who thinks that claw sucks in SF4, should play this guy’s Claw…it might change your mind.

Someday I shall figure out how to defeat a good claw!!!

:china:

Guess what my favorite side is…

BTW, sometimes when I play team-based games, I pick coordinating colors for them, regardless of their fighting chemistry.

  • i like over the top, broken fighting games
  • i dont talk trash nor show emotion when i play

I want to do combos whenever possible, preferably as big as possible.

Daigo?

Robot?

The first fighting game I ever played was Street Fighter II: The World Warriors. I was at a Boys & Girls club when I was in probably the 3rd grade and my friend who went there a lot when his parents were at work told me about the game. He taught me how to do Blanka’s roll and electricity.

Another time I was playing Super Street Fighter II in my home town when I was in high school at a pizza place when a guy dropped a quarter on me. By the time he left he had to go home to get more money to pay for his pizza. That’s back when I knew how to play well. I’m a damn scrub now though lol

hahaha.

i only get hype when i’m out of state for tournies cause i’m representing my hometown. but locally i dont show emotion. i think its noobish to go off and get angry because you lost. if you lose then its your fault unless its a tech problem.

thats just my opion.

I actually have a standard style and a drunken style of use for my mains.

For some reason I suck at fighting against strategies I’m also good at. For example, I suck at reversing tick throws but at the same time I’m good at setting them up. The same thing goes with character selection, I suck at fighting against the characters I main with only a few exceptions like Goro Daimon or Yun.

Another weird thing is I tend to play a lot better when I’m not concentrated at all, like I play in a subconscious way or something and play better by instinct than strategy.

The more unfocused I am, laughing, talking, joking, the better I play.

Also, if I don’t like a character, how they look, their backstory, I just don’t play well with them regardless of how their character playing style is or how top tier they are.

I hate marvel vs. capcom series.

I talk to myself when I do a move wrong

I always seem to pick shitty characters when I first play a game, then by the time I know who’s any good I feel too lazy to learn them.

i sometimes have a diffucult time doing qcf, hcb supers on the 2p side

example with Geese in 98UM:

i have an easier time doing cr. BxxxABCxxxst. C, Raising Storm then cr. B, cr. A, Deadly Rave on the 2p side:sad:

I hate it when a game has an assist system.

I play B. Jenet/Ash Crimson in any fighting game they are in.

I can’t hit confirm for shit.

i also add that i will not play in a tourney match without my ipod. i dont care if i’m in the finals, if i dont have my ipod then i’m not gonna play.

I pick top tier in games that I hate to play, because they do a lot of damage usually, and aren’t that hard to use.

I don’t punish things properly all the time.

i cant figure out frames for shit

i tend to get too crazy if it looks like im about to win

i play alot better under pressure

On 3s, idk what to do on wake ups:

1- if parrying standing + super,
2 - parrying croushin + super,
3 - trying to kara-throw
4 - jump and do a long range kick
5 - Just a super as a reversal.

It fucks me up, i never know what to do, nothing is safe… in corners everyone fucks me up lol, can’t get out of there. Maybe is because i never fast wake up lol, that roll back may save me.

I Never use female Characters, just personal opinion, but i think they are always cheap on street fighter, with high priority and good pokes…

Always when i pick up a character, i explore normals, which would be good for anti-air, good for poking when at close approach, good for keeping distance etc.

For me, RED BAR = Turlting time!, run away to the corner, and wait for an opening lol
