Yeah I cant wait to see this Rocks dude in action. A man so badass, he had 3 of the 4 emperors as his subordinates, and could only be defeated by the combined efforts of Prime Garp, and Gol. D Roger. Just…wow

Never thought we’d ever hear about a guy that surpasses Roger. Dude had to have been an absolute monster (although they DO mention the emperors weren’t as strong back then)
Doubt Rocks actually surpasses Roger, given we know that Roger won that rivalry.
And if we walk the clock back 38 years, the now yonko were at most on like the current Dogtooth/Queen/Marco the Phoenix level, and maybe even a bit less than that? Shichibukai to sub-commanderish.
If Roger and Whitebeard have the two highest bounties ever, then the Rocks pirates were probably a little less strong in total than what Whitebeard had at Marineford.
Yeah doubt those three were as they are now. They were probably similar to how Zoro and co are now
Well it depends, Roger didn’t beat him by himself. But too many variable are still missing. We don’t know anyone’s powers. Especially Roger’s.
so now that we got the Emperor Bounties…anyone thinks we’ll see updated current Former Warlord bounties?
I was actually surprised we didn’t hear them this chapter, though really the only ones I’m curious about are Mihawk and to a lesser degree Whitebeard Jr.

Will no doubt be in future chapters, this chapter was all about building the legacy of 4 Emperors and the shifting status quo with the military and World Government.
Whys the chapter so short?
Story flow. Ended the chapter right on the cusp of a reveal. Gotta hold that pause for dramatic effect.
And I gotta say, Wano arc part 3 is starting out looking NOTHING like we were led to expect.
yeah, not sure if its a good or bad thing. would be kinda lame when it turns out to be a small fight with just the main crew.

As much as I hate Orochi’s face, I gotta admit I like a villain that’s paranoid enough to make sure that his enemies aren’t plotting against him. I’m curious to see what he did, I’m guessing there were moles among the allies.

I dont see it. He was willing to fight , lose a hand and almost die along side the dog against Jack and his men. Makes no sense for Jack to go that hard on their inside guy. I understand making it look convincing but, that attack on the Minks was no holds barred

imo, if there is a traitor, then he/she will not be one of the scabards or Carrot or Law and his crews.
and Kyoshiro is not Denjiro or part of original scabbards
