I really like Oda’s architecture, so ornate and detailed! Every time it takes me a like 5 minutes just to bask in the grandeur of his cityscapes.

It’s back to normal one piece arc flow. Really super slow at the start, almost to the point of being boring, then at the end there is a bunch of fights culminating in one big fight were something cool happens and we learn soemthing cool.
REPEAT.

Well we haven’t had a traditional arc in OP since Thriller Bark so it’s a nice return to form with Fishman Island. Although admittedly I did like the unpredictable nature of the past 5 or so arcs.

Fishmen would be oped with devil fruits they already hit the ground running stronger than humans. They can manipulate the sea at high tiers. I dont think they can get devil fruits because they are creatures of the sea and that would be a death sentence
Fishmen/merfolk can eat devil fruit, it just wouldn’t be in their best interest to do so. We’ve already seen Vegapunk figure out how to give inanimate objects devil fruit powers.
