Shit that merman guy better give the SH crew a decent fight. I dont want him to be another fodder to scale the powers of the remaining Strawhats. Heres hoping he gives them a fight and not just give in so easily.

Very true and he did it so calmly as well. It kind of gives hope to my theory to when the shit really hits the fan, Usopp reverts to his cold as ice sniper mode. Even Zorro was impressed.
A fishman civil war⌠I can see that. Iâm sure some of the fishmen would resent Jimbeiâs softer stance on (some) humans. Or maybe (god forbid) Jimbei is dead or weakened and there is a power vacuum going on. I hope heâs still alive, he quickly became on of my favorite characters during the war arc. You know youâre a bad ass when you can destroy people while wearing a bathrobe lol.
So far we havenât seen what Brooke can do. Iâm guessing heâs going to use his music soothe the savage sea kings or maybe become a huge sensation in Fishman Island!
That would be cool as hell if Brooke brought peace to the fish folk with the power of music.

Fishmen probably evoked a zero tolerance policy on Fishman island . Smart thing to do since they are worth alot as slaves. And outsiders could technically slip in and take down the defenses. I donât think the Whitebeard Pirates really hold sway over fishman island anymore either .
I dont blame the fishmen for defending themselves they know theyre worth alot as slaves and arent safe anymore since whitebeard died, all hell brooke loose after he died.

Well to be fair, it was well timed with the Coup de Burst that Franky had just set off. Not sure if Luffy was aware of that or not, though, hahaha.
As for Usopp, yeah he impressed Zoro but I think the other SHs have always been impressed with him. Heâs more like a regular person than the other crewmates, along with Nami. Oda said heâll always be the weakest SH but the cool thing about Usopp is that heâs more like weâd be in those situations - fucking terrified - so itâs cool to see him simply get over that and take part.

My guess is that we now have 2-3 episodes before Ace says GGPO.
Which means 3-4 before we get to see pissed off Whitebeard vs Akainu and are probably 5 out from Blackbeard stealing the show.
It is not that Luffy doesnât know how to lie, he just doesnât fake shit like backing down or fake being a lacky. If he did then heâd be no better then Teach. But damn, I know it will probably another 5-10 chapters minimum before we see a legit fight where one of the Strawhats shows off more then a sampling of what they probably can do.
Damn so its gonna be another good 15+ Ep. before everyone escapes. (counting all of the above)

Watching this made me think of the funniest moments in OP, and I think my funniest moment ever was in the Skypeia arc where Chopper was guarding Merry and he has his back turned, then one of Enelâs priests (The dude with the sunglasses and the fire spear) snuck up on Chopper and Chopper did that triple take turn around and you could see his face distort from normal to scared shitless in slow mo. 
Does any one remember what episode that was?
