Forgot who said it but after 300 mil you bounty doesn’t really doesn’t go up that fast. Luffy was at 300 mil, he broke into and out of impel down taking with him 200+ prisoners, punch a world Noble and took part in the war and his bounty only jump 100 mill. That could have been cuz they thought he was dead thou

I think his bounty will jump another 100 million. Knocking off Doflamingo isn’t a small feat.
They can’t just keep upping his bounty by so much. Mostly because it just starts to make the Marines look incompetent after a certain point. Also doesn’t help that Dofla was a member of the shichibukai. Probably be like what happened with Crocodile, but even more covered up and maybe a small bounty increase or none at all.

They may be able to gloss over the details, but the fact is their guy Doffy and his whole organization is lying white-eyed in the rubble of what was once Dressrosa and Straw Hat Luffy and Trafalgar Law are the two niggas responsible.
I don’t understand Law’s position now. I am pretty sure that Law is going to have to be kicked out as a Warlord. He took down Doffy with Luffy with the Heavenly Yakusha, which is a beast name for an alliance. Nigga is working with someone who has declared War on the government, separate from the one his father started.
The bounty is not going to shoot up that high, but i bet that we’re gonna get a badass scene of everyone in the world reacting to the news of doffy’s defeat at the hands of luffy. I am scared for luffy now though. because Kaidou is now fucking pissed off. Luffy and Law are probably #1 on his hitlist for fucking with his business. They better lay low for a while.
Also, can we PLEASE see if sanji and crew survived. I am so scared for sanji right now. He might really lose his leg on some zeff shit.

I’m pretty certain all the big names- Dragon, Yonkou have official bounties that are most likely capped the same way Shichibukai are. These guys are at a level that their bounties are a moot point. Not to mention they do their own shit.
Dragon is likely to be in the billion bounty club being an active threat to the government. His title of “World’s Most Dangerous Man” isn’t just for show.
Luffy’s bounty will only continue to rise since he’s declared war on the World Government and their allies, invaded Impel Down- freeing some of the worst criminals ever, reinvaded Marineford after the war, son of Dragon- the most wanted man, punched the shit out of a Tenryuubito and defeated/ exposed nearly half of their Shichibukai and made allies with a former member. Good thing they don’t know about Hancock wanting the D.

I’ve doubled back and realized that my early suspicions of Franky being the son of or affiliated with Kaido seems even more likely post-timeskip. Franky got kicked off a pirate ship by his parents and possessed a natural gift for building tech. A few of Kaido’s crew have been shown to be cyborgs.
Kaido and his crew seems particularly hardened and no nonsense, so the decision to throw their son Cutty Flam overboard goes along with this tendency.
It is a shame, I sort of liked Fujitora now I can’t see how he does get demoted at least if not out right imprisoned for life or killed by either Fleet Admiral Akainu (fuck his real name) or the World Government for admitting fault and doing it on video broadcast.

It’s understandable. Outside of Sugar them dudes don’t really stand out. I mean Monet and Vergo, and Baby 5 were actually properly introduced, though the first two were killed off in the same damn Arc only after a couple of chapters which was lame. And even if they weren’t they’re still made strong first impressions. The others we saw on Dressrosa excluding Sugar were quite forgettable though.
Wait, I’ve sort of lost track here- are the ‘other crew members’ Sanji et al or the Donquixote pirates?
Anyway, I thought the characterization for the Donquixote pirates was pretty good this arc. Standouts were Senor Pink and Violet, honorable mention to Baby 5.
Thinking about that though, as much as I love reading how Oda builds out interesting back-stories for single arc minor characters, that adds up to a lot of pages over the course of an arc. Would One Piece be a better read if Oda wasn’t using time like that, or is it that kind of baroque detail that makes One Piece interesting?
I’d rather have fleshed out characters and longer arcs over a bunch of cool-looking characters who never do shit.

Don’t you get it? The fact that they don’t do shit is what makes them cool. While everyone else is trying their best to prove themselves, going trough character development, and getting shit done. They just chilling, leaning against the wall with one foot rested against it with their hands in their pockets looking cool as fuck doing nothing.
