well, in the science of anime manga mirroring, I am guessing blackbeard takes down the world government, and Luffy saves the day and creates a world of equality.
Madara took down the kage army, Naruto saved the day and created a world of equality, turned rival Sasuke
German guy takes down soul society, Ichigo saves the day and creates a world of equality, will turn Ishida (pretty sure this will happen)
I think it will ten years before that. One peice has so much potential still. I hope it doesnt dbz itself by becoming too serious though. Shippuden did that for Naruto. The humor inOne Peice is great and I hope it stays.
New chapter up on Panda. Some confusing translations, but readable and early.
Also another appearance by a guy named “Dory”. He’s pretty clearly not one of the pair of Giant Island captains the Strawhats encountered early on, so I googled, and found this, supposedly from someone named Aohige:
"1. The pirate Diez Barrels. The family name Diez is how “X” in X Drake is read. It’s clearly written whenever Drake shows up in the manga, with the exact same spelling. (ディエス) He is a former marine gone pirate.
2. The pirate has a cleft chin, shared by Drake.
3. The pirate angrily calls “Dory” to bring booze, to which the young man replies “Right away…” The boy looks miserable from what we can see.
Drake is spelt in Japanese as Doreeku, Dory would completely match how nicknames are named in One Piece.
4. This is taking place in North Blue, where Drake hails from.
One Piece flashbacks are always such a mix of feels and frustration, especially when they’re put in the middle of a climactic fight like this. On the one hand it’s a good story. On the other hand it’s been SIX FULL CHAPTERS OF FLASHBACK. In the middle of said climactic fight. At this point it’s like, “awww, that’s so sad… Now are we done, please?”
But, well, it was still a good chapter. So.

The anime runners are gonna have to pull out all stops, because the animated version of this chapter has the opportunity to REALLY turn on the tearducts if they use sound - or lack of it - properly.
We’d better not be hearing any of Law’s cries before the Marines’ cannons start drowning them out.[/details]
This was posted years ago:
WILL of D
and that will is to… 1. to use the ancient weapon to destroy the
a. red line (pluton)
b. to bring fishman island to the surface (poseidon) c. to bring down all sky islands (uranus)
2. to break the land boundaries that seperate all the seas, creating one big sea that all fishes swim (all blue)
3. creating a whole world that everyone is equal regardless of race and power (destruction of world government). thus, making the whole world as a one piece.
The only fight I am surprised by is Zoro’s, son should stop playing with his food already and end Squeaky already. We already know Zoro can curb stop logias, lets just hurry up and get to either the main event or Robin, Cavendish and Bart. Soldier san and the arena boss don’t seem like they are likely to be that interesting.
I’m just glad to finally see Law touching Doflamingo… and using ARMAMENTS HAKI no less! It seems revealing he’s a D gave him a power and confidence boost of sorts.
One can assume Pica is still using evasive tactics like before and running like a bitch. I don’t care care about how long the fight lasts, just how it ends. Zoro, show me a new move or some amped up Coca Cola Classic™ Santoryu technique.
[details=Spoiler]Law was making some real headway too I love the way he’s using his ability, but I guess his approach is way to conventional. I love how he saw through Doflamingo’s mindgame, that mother…
And now Bellamy is trying to kill himself for some reason. It might be a diversion of some kind, but I know Luffy will be understanding.[/details]
