Well he’s a crazy-looking bastard, and more obsessed than a Bieber fangirl.
I wonder if Bartolomeo will ask Nami or Robin to sign his underwear…

Man, Sanji keeps picking fights above his league. Hoping for some proper group fighting going on here, when Fujitora figures out where everybody is.
My thing is - Vergil was a ‘hard’ counter pick (no pun intended honestly). I don’t think it’s fair to have a guy who’s entire offense is based around using his own body, go against ‘the hardest muthakcufa here’ - and consider his struggle to mean Doflo should son him.
Granted Doflo should win…but I don’t think it’s going to be lopsided - especially initially. Hell even doflo commented on his strength.
Sanji definitely deserves some shine time, he always seems a step behind Zoro.
I know we really dont like the flashbacks in this series but how amazing would it be if we got a full on doflo flashback? He has the most interesting past by far.
Sanji should do good in this matchup, he has possibly more tools to work with than anyone else on the crew (Sides Lucy) to fight Don.
As for strength…
I hope Sanji fucks Doflamingo up for approaching fine ass Nami like that. Fuck that nigga.
I see Nami’s taken to wearing less and less clothing each arc, lol… It was bad enough with her just running around in a bikini-top, and now she’s rocking the daisy dukes too?
Sanji’s gonna be too distracted to fight Doflo…
When he fought against Vergil, Sanji’s body was still messed up from all the damage (either Nami or Chopper) took while they were in it, he kept up with him but that Armor Haki was something fierce. That being said, Sanji CAN’T win this fight straight up, he is going to need help from Law and hopefully someone or something distracting Fujitora while they double team the man called Joker.
I was kind of hoping it would be Zoro over there, I’d imagine a Zoro vs Dolflamingo or Fujitora fight at this stage might be too climatic, when we haven’t even gotten to the war/battle side of things this arc has been building up.
Damn, Oda how the fuck do you juggle this many plot threads in a arc this smooth? And before you retire from drawing all together can you at least teach a class so we can have more legit pale imitations of your craft then the type we usually wind up getting?
@Wellman considering Vergo hadn’t even assumed his ultimate armament form, even a healthy Sanji would have no hope in the long run.
I’m also in awe of Oda’s consistency. What he does pacing~wise shouldn’t work in principle, and yet it does.
Zoro is the First Mate with a lot more weight on his shoulders, and has far more ambition.
Thriller Bark, Never Forget! :p:
Nothing happened in Thriller Bark
I want to like and lol and insightful this a million times.
lol being in awe of manga pacing. You guys are silly.
C’mon, V-Slash… Even you have to give credit to how much content and detail Oda packs into a weekly 16-page comic considering that, unlike his peers, Oda works 18-hour days with virtually no assistants, whilst plotting and planning a huge, interconnected storyline and unique characters.
All that, and he has thus far managed to avoid a number of traditional pitfalls and clichés of the genre. Really impressive work, imo…
I can appreciate the amount of work and effort the man puts into his work which has literally made him sick, but to say he has no assistants is just silly. When did that happen?
The japanese comic making process is so flawed that it’s sad to see someone so talented and passionate as Oda be harangued by the silly schedule.
Plus One Piece is a giant shonen cliche.
I never said I didn’t like it, that is what you bitches always make it seem like. One Piece is a great shonen manga. I can’t wait til Dofla kills everyone and the manga ends. Or Luffy just punches him a lot and he goes on a cover adventure. ONE PIECE IS SO NON TRADITIONAL THAT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WILL HAPPEN!
You know I love you, V-Slash… no homo.
I said virtually no assistants. Not none at all. He works with far fewer assistants than say Kishi or Mr. “I draw whole panels of nothing but black ink” Kubo Tite, aka Killer of Octopi.
Well we both know I can’t fucking read.
Alo Kubo Tite is the best because he doesn’t care and he doesn’t care that you care. Bleach is the DOA of shonen mangas. You can always tell if someone is a gay boi if they say “I don’t like One Piece’s art” THat is like saying “I don’t enjoy delicious food”
Man… I hope the Violet’s betrayal to the Doflamingo crew is so severe, she has to join the Straw Hats.
We seriously need a Straw Hat Girls trio. (Sorry, Hancock)
Thriller Bark was definitely not the speediest arc for what it was, but it was still relevant in that:
-It gave Zoro his new sword.
-First mention of Kaidou.
-Introduced Bartholomew Kuma and his ongoing relevance pre-timeskip.
-Showed the reason why Zoro was 1st Mate.
-Official debut of Vivre Cards.
-Yohohohohohoho!

white shadow, re-read his post in contrast to yours broski.
Thriller Bark had a weak-ass start, but a strong end.
As white shadow said, we got “Can see I your panties?” Brook
Zoro took on a monster Samurai that can cut a building in half, got a new sword, and retrieved Brook’s shadow.
I liked Gekko Moria, his DF power was really interesting and the Luffy/Oz dynamic was funny/weird/crazy as hell.
Nightmare Luffy was a cool one-off.
The Straw Hats took their first serious L from Kuma and only survived because he deemed them worthy to live. Zoro’s loyalty and endurance only helped to validate his decision.
