It’s offical, that dude needs to put the series on hiatus and focus on getting better.
I’d rather have rest for a month, than keep whittling down his lifespan for our sake. If anything, it will help him formulate ideas better.
As I said on Kotaku, Oda needs to start taking proper vacations. Take two to four weeks off in the summer, two to four weeks off in the winter. Doctor’s orders.
Even looking at it cynically, one seems to miss out on four to six weeks of One Piece every year as it is thanks to health issues or whatever. Better for Oda if those weeks are planned.
No kidding.
Just watching the latest episode of One Piece made me realize how awesome she is as Luffy.
I still (after all these years) can’t get over the fact that she voiced Krillin though.
What the fuck is up with the animation quality on one piece? Will it improve on the DvDs or will it remain shitty forever
I remember some of us were starting to go loco en la cavesa last time Oda took what seemed to us, an extended break.

Man, there are levels to this shit…Oda’s at the top of the heap yo. Halfway thru the chapter I started looking for the ‘End’ at the bottom of the page, but it just kept going (in a good way…like bangin out a chick and the stamina feels limitless)
The end of the chapter is how I like for chapters to end. Absolutely NO fucks were given about anyone else.

Holy shit, this chapter was freaking epic!! I’m loving the shit out of these fights in this block so far!
I especially loved the clash between Don and Luffy at the end since now I see what happens when you combine CoA and CoC together.
However, despite how much l love this chapter, I still think Oda needs a break from this series to get some rest, take his meds, spend time with family, then come back in full force.
I still wonder how much a ‘boxed set’ of One Piece will cost when complete. It’s something I’d like to own like that one day.

[details=Spoiler] The coolest part was Don and Luffy clashing created a similar reality breaking effect like when Whitebeard used his powers. And Don serves under Doflamingo? WTF?! Now the scene where Whitebeard and Shanks clashed is starting to show the degrees of Haki power in the OP world.
The interesting part was realizing that Don’s grandson and the boxer dude seemed just as strong as pre-timeskip Luffy, and they both got peaced out in a blink of an eye.[/details]

It’s weird looking at Luffy like “He’s supposed to win because he’s the protagonist, but it looks about even atm”
This chapter made me want a One Piece fighting game even more…just straight up Arena combat…I’m seeing the boxer guy with the Steve ‘swag’ and ‘sway’, but each punch being Sagat’s c.fp.

That Diamante dude aka “The Champ” I really hope I get a hint of his abilities soon. As the “Hero of the Colosseum” his personality is quite quirky and isn’t too intimidating, but this is One Piece so…
