Yeah, I thought she was enslaved as soon as I saw the stereotypical French maid (?) outfit. I still wouldn’t really write it off as some type of enslavement being involved just because it’s Doflamingo, but she seems more “kept” at present than out-and-out being his slave, especially with her Paladin-complex.
As for the exposure, I can see you were confused considering some of them got “petrified” rather gradually and from the legs-up, but part of that was because they were running away from it
Hate to break that smile, but given we see a seemingly one armed Jaws/Jose in the background (guessing they didn’t save that arm after Aokiji ran up on him), I am guessing that top hat belongs to Vista aka Flower Sword with that curly mustache.
Edit: Went back and reread Chapter 682, I completely missed how in the panels aside from the ones on her back, nearly all her weapons appear to be coming out of her wrists or fingers.
Nah, unless Vista cut off his epic curly 'stache which I doubt because what man would ever do such a thing to himself, I’m going to jump on the Lucci train as well. The background dude could be someone we haven’t seen yet.
I’m really hoping Lucci did some major leveling up and now employs haki in his already devastating rokushiki arsenal. This is the only guy who nearly killed Luffy with pure physical force and he would’ve succeeded if it weren’t for that unbeatable plot armor. :bluu:
Dangit, you’re probably right. It fits the design on his collar, too, even though he seems to have shaved his 'stache. Though I swear the face on the dude in the background looks more like Blueno than Jozu… And didn’t Jozu lose his OTHER arm? Of course, that could be a goof on Oda’s part. My first thought was that whoever’s over there simply has his arms behind his back.
Storywise it does make more sense for the remainder of the Whitebeard crew to still be active in the New World, so Vista/Jozu is more likely than the other option. I do wanna see CP9 again, though. With the One Piece track record for villains, they could easily be redeemed as antihero types, Crocodile-style.
It looks more like Lucci to me. Vista is more bulky and has a large collar. Dude in the background could simply be a new character. A haki mastering Rob Lucci sounds freaking terrifying!
Damned: Remember that Doflas power is physical and not mental control, so its not a stretch to think that Baby 5 was subjected to do unsavory acts prior to the full reveal.

All the new chapter really bring the past into perspective to me. Mainly, the whitebeard arc. I mean, Vergo is supposed to be some “monster” and is a vice-admiral, so I can only think of the world summit where flamingo showed up and Sengoku called him “trash of the sea” Makes me think how powerful Garp/Whitebeard/Roger are/where considering vice admirals were everywhere at the Battle of Marine Ford. Damn, think about Shanks making Akainu pee his pants
I’ve been living in Madrid for awhile and travelled europe. I’m surprise One Piece and Naruto is popular amongst peeps here. Everyone trolls Bleach. In a way, it is the same thing as back in North America haha…
Drum arc was listed as an actual movie that was shown in theaters (movie 9). Like what they did with the arabasta arc (movie 8). The nami and luffy I believe are just OVAs or whatever not considered an actual movie, especially since the Master Z one is supposed to be the one piece movie this year.
