To be fair…SCEA has a rule that any game that does not have an English dub option goes straight to download. JP and EU copies are able to be sold at retail. Not Namco’s faul at that part.
I might have to check out Funi’s One Piece episodes.
The 4 Kids one left me feeling violated.
Basically the economy isn’t great for Bandai Namco so they are going the cheap route partially because they don’t trust the brand and partially because they themselves don’t want to pay Funimation or other voice actors.
2 hour download, about another 15-30 minutes for install @Unreallystic
Played a few hours last night, stopped at Drum Island. A lot of story elements are skipped or breezed past, and the comic style dialogue is cheesy, but gameplay is a lot of fun. “Another Log” is highly entertaining. I’ve only got the first four of the crew so far, but playing them Musuo style is a blast. They really captured everybody’s fighting style well from what I’ve seen. G/f was depressed when she couldn’t play as Mansopp though.
I didn’t want to come to work this morning, woke up with the urge to ShiShi SonSon.
Aww, no Mansopp? Well, the game was developed before the Fishman Island arc was done, so I guess it makes sense. Still a shame… I’d’ve liked to see how they make him play. Setting traps as well as doing a ton of different ranged attacks?
That’s right, I never played those. Hmm… More crowd control/summon style stuff? Bring out big plants and Rafflesias and suchlike to keep crowds of goons tied up and softened up while he combos other people with more direct attacks?
Sanji’s kinda busted in Pirate Warriors. Repeated R1 dash cancelling through mobs builds massive meter safely and quickly, while doing great damage.
Late Unlocks
Spoiler
I still haven’t unlocked Ace or Whitebeard yet, though.
Yea Sanji’s R1 is great. I uses it against boss type enemies to juggle them.
[spoiler=Whitebeard in PW ] He has Conquerors Haki as his R2 and you can cancel into it. It’s pretty op. His R1 is his devil fruit power that just makes everything in front of him wish they were never born.
Man, the final bit of Luffy VS Hordy was FAR less free in the anime. Hordy actually did some damage, rather than Luffy going “lol dodge falcon PUNCH!”
And Luffy used Red Hawk a second time. Interestingly, in the anime they actually animate it as his hand catching on fire before the punch. Not sure if I like that as much as the “punching so hard there’s an explosion” he did in the manga.
The prolonged fight does make for a tenser situation than in the manga. But, man. Someone should gather together all the times Hordy says “Humans are scum and worthless and you’re going to lose!”, and see how many minutes he uses on saying the EXACT SAME THING over and over and over again during the FI arc. You’d think he’d at least vary the way he says it, but no.
I wsa able to abuse my folks internet…got Dc Universe and OP:PW, while also upping L4D2, LP & Borderlands onto the new laptop. I’ve onyl gotten so far Don Krieg though.
Anyways, I need some OP help. While driving back to NC form the DMv I started thinking about when the crew got spit up and the training started, the war, etc etc. So I stopped at a book store. they ironically were missing two of the marine ford volumes that I really wanted, but the price was 10 bux. I figured I’d hop on Amazon and start buying the series book by book…when my son is in middle school, Oda should finally be slowing down haha…but they got it for 10 also (you can do it a little cheaper, but once you add shipping in s those places aren’t prime eligible)…so in short…
Where can I ‘legally’ attain copies of this series without going broke?
It shouldn’t come as a surprise since he’s demonstrated in previous chapters the techniques of CP9. I’m going to assume that someone of his rank in the Marines should be able to do that much. I’m also going to assume he has a devil fruit ability because of the random shit that sticks to him.
Vergo had the bad luck of eating the facefood-facefood fruit. Its only effect is making food get stuck to your face, while it still takes away your ability to swim.
Vergo compensated for this with sheer badassedness and Haki.
