I think some of us knew that Akainu would become the new Admiral, but I didn’t think he would have to fight Aokiji for the position. Makes me wonder if Aokiji is going to form his own group, or will he join Dragon?

This is the most detail we’ve got about her really. Minister seemed to be terrified of her and it sounded like she was extorting the island for candy? The same candy Luffy was eating? From the wording it sounded like Mom’s crew told them to give the candy to Luffy, so I’m confused…

I don’t think Jewelry Bonney is going to have anything to do with what just went down seeing how the age thing only really affected Hody’s team. Who gives a shit if they kick the bucket.

I think they are talking about the energy pills. Its some old school parenting shit where your parents would make you smoke a whole carton of cigarettes if they caught you smoking .Like it’s really sadistic and messed up.
The energy pills were stolen from the chest though, not made in the candy factory… Right? Wtf I’m confused now.

Just a crazy thought. What if he had a Devil Fruit before he got the Gura Gura fruit? Like his original DF is a wild card fruit that lets him carry more than one DF.

Multiple fruits
From the way they worded it it sounds like Blackbeard isn’t the only one on his crew that can have multiple abilities. It says “They’ve” acquired an ability so I’m not sure it only applies to Blackbeard

Yes, I was previously under the impression that the multiple fruit thing was exclusive to Blackbeard, but the latest chapter does make it seem like they’re able to give multiple fruits to each of the crew members. Of course, the ability to obtain multiple fruits may still have to do with Blackbeard and his powers. I guess we’ll find out later on down the line.

it’s just the way it was translated, I don’t have any reason to believe Blackbeard can give his crew multiple abilities, but it might be possible that he can give away abilities by storehousing them within his own body. It would make sense considering the scope and origin of his ability.

Fleet Admiral Akainu sounds fucking terrifying, I don’t know if the New World has any room for jobbers when a murderous beast like him is roaming the seas. Same goes for Blackbeard.

I have a feeling that Blackbeard could actually be storing the DF powers into some kind of container and when time calls for it, he’ll bust it out and give his crew powers. And I cant wait to see Aokiji tell his side of the story because Akainu being head of the marines is gonna cause ALOT of tension. What i’m most surprised about is they didnt want to vote in Kizaru for the position.
kizaru couldn’t be fleet admiral because his views are un determined he is real wishy washy . He could have wiped out the supernovas in one swoop but toyed with them and allowed them to escape multiple times.He either likes the challenge of fighting Luffy and his crew are just generally doesn’t take his job extremely seriously . I got a feeling smoker is an admiral or a bounty hunter.
