(Lol at people being surprised One Piece is that far ahead. If anything, I’m surprised that Bleach is still that popular after sucking for at least the past couple of years.)

Ah, I remember why I didn’t bother saying anything about the last chapter: VS’s poor attempts at trolling.

Anyway, yeah, it looks like we might be on Fishman Island a while yet, especially since Luffy has yet to “destroy” Fishman Island and Van Decken utterly failed, unless Madame Shirley’s usually accurate predictions either saw Noah or were just wrong.

[details=Spoiler]Lolol, in my head I literally saw page seven as in RPG-esque “Jimbei leaves” the part. I also find it hilarious that people are both surprised that he didn’t join and acting like he’s never going to join when he explicitly says that he can’t join now but will eventually. He’ll just be The Tenth and The Last instead of The Ninth. He’ll probably return like 400 chapters later to save their asses and then join…unless Oda makes a twist and kills him off ala Ace.

The “heroes have to share” thing continues to be amusing. I also wonder what type of fishman that singer is; she looks like some type of eel possibly, at least due to her tail.

Most importantly, though, I got a bit of a chuckle out of Neptune drunkenly assuming Robin was hitting on him before the big reveal. I suppose that Shirahosi being Poseidon shouldn’t have been surprising considering how broken her power should be due to how huge those Sea Kings are and how the One Piece world seems covered with more water than even the real life world. And yet it was…[/details]

It’s interesting to now that Ryuuguu Palace is based off of Japanese mythology. I should have expected it, though. I need to read up on Japanese mythology even more.

How strong are the Sea Kings though? You really think people can’t beat them? The admirals and anyone Ace’s level can probably wipe the floor with them.

An admiral could take a few of your average Sea Kings. But if they were to see a horde of those deep sea prehistoric looking mother fuckers big enough to swallow islands? Sea Kings probably outnumber humans in the One Piece world too since the majority of the planet is ocean.

I always thought that they’ve done things simply out of their kindness, so they don’t want to be treated as heroes. Also, I’m so proud of Fairy Tail being #4 on that list, favorite manga right now, with One Piece as my 2nd choice.
