That’s the zombie sword. He either had that sheath the whole time, or Mihawk gave him a pimp one because he trained him. Like the patch on Master Roshi’s guys.

And yeah, the robots will come, maybe even an admiral, and the SHs will escape the island this time. Showing how strong they are. It will be neat to see Luffy punch Sentomaru right in his face and then boost away on their new super ship.

I have a feeling Zoro actually beat Mihawk, thus getting that scar. But he didnt kill him, he just evened the score so there could be one last match between the two.

Luffy’s “skirmish” is all the funnier when you realize that he didn’t even have to dodge. Nice to see he’s using his head and trying to stay on undercover.

Jeez, why does everyone want Akainu dead? Dude is just doing his job… ain’t his fault that dumbass Ace jumped in front of him when he was trying to apply some absolute just to Luffy.

I don’t want Akainu dead, but at the same time you can’t say that he’s not just a tad too hardcore about his job in other fields (instantly killing deserters, blowing up a craft full of civilians, etc).

The fact that he’s such an asshole who doesn’t hold back unlike Kizaru and Aokiji is why I want him to stay alive for a while yet.

Speaking of which, the fact that he smiled at Bonny should be terrifying.

Despite what people think, I don’t think he gets any pleasure from the pain he inflicts unlike Kizaru, he’s just all about dispensing ultimate justice with extreme prejudice.

As for your “OOC” complaint, what are you talking about? Chopper has always been massively naive and, while I think he smell the others, he would of course trust his eyes first after being separated from them for two years. I mean, geez, Shabondy Archipelago seems to be freaking packed to the brim with people all the time.

I concur on not liking Franky’s re-design, though; I think Oda just foreshadowed that it will probably change anyway. Regardless, I’m going to try to give it a chance.

Akainu practices scortched earth style justice. He doesn’t discriminate and doesn’t care about the lives of civilians if I saw his actions only extend toward, deserters,criminals and traitors I would see it as actions justified. He extends it to civilians which is going way to far.Franky needs to put skin over his arms asap. He would look way more intimidating if he had skin on his arms. Brooke will stay a strawhat no doubt.

Ah, I hope you’re wrong. It’s been shown that Milhawk is on a ungodly Yonkou level during the war who used to spar with Shanks when he had two arms.
Having Zoro surpass him this early on would be a mistake. I think at most Zoro has earned Mihawk’s respect… as a student of course not a peer.

Having said that, watch Mihawk be missing an arm in his next appearance. :bluu:

(Yes, I know the wiki lists him erroniously as 15 years old, but in the SBS where Oda tells us his age, he says that he is a Reindeer, but in human years, he would be about 15. This makes him actually 2 or 3 years when we meet him based on the life span of a Reindeer)
