you’re obviously new to the series then. I have no qualms about it being released once a month. However the amount of chapters that he’s released since 03 is just pathetic.
It wouldn’t be as bad if he wouldn’t keep on releasing 3-4 chapters when he’s supposed to and then go on a 8 month hiatus. Then release 2 more and go on another 6 month hiatus. He’s only 1/3 of the way through his story and that has taken 20 years. His projected date of finishing up the series is in another 40 years. At the rate he’s going though, it seems to be closer to 50-60 years. Over that time he’ll grow less interested in the story and will probably never finish it up properly. Or he may die before the series ends properly.

Really, last I read in his own version of SBS interview back in 2003. He said that he was only 1/3rd of the way through the story. That took 20 years to get that far. Simple math would indicate that it’d be another 40 for him to finish the story.
Maybe he cut out some of the story to make it more manageable or is compressing the story. As long as it ends within my lifetime I’ll be happy.
I wouldn’t say it is boring, so far it mainly seemed to highlight who are probable opponents for Usopp, Zoro (although we all knew that from the start) and Sanji. Although I originally guessed Ikaros would be Usopp’s opponent and Zeo would be Sanji’s, although it is looking like it will most likely be the other way around. Dosun seems like he could be either Franky’s or Chopper’s opponent.

I’m wondering if he will even make it to be the big bad of this arc. Since apparently after Zoro owned him, dude has to down the pills to stay up according to the translation of this chapter. That shit is having a negative effect on him, so unless he Hulks out or something, we might be looking at some tossing him to the side at the last minute to be Luffy’s opponent and the arc’s big bad. Hope it isn’t just Van Decken and an actual surprise like someone working for Big Ma or that World Noble from back in the day.
Either way, I liked it, expanded on who the villains are, although I can get why people are miffed at some of the recent chapters, there hasn’t been nearly enough time for the Strawhats as a gang besides brief snippets for over 2 years now.
It’s so satisfying to now just how much Zoro wrecked him with one cut. SHIT BE FELT!
Hordy has probably cut his lifespan by a three decades with all those pills.

this issue bored me. I didn’t even finish it the first time I tried reading it. I’m sorry, I the NFP just aren’t interesting in the lsightest, and almost feel forced. I’d rather they were fleshed out IN COMBAT.
