(Yeah, sorry about that Logia. I know that feeling.)
It occurs to me about something that I’m curious about, having thought it more and more: the Mera Mera no Mi seems like the weakest Logia power overall, doesn’t it? Ace as a whole seemed like he unfortunately got hyped to be bigger than ended up being “on-screen” since we never saw him do anything but tie, lose and then die, so I suppose it’s par for the course.
Does anyone disagree on this? I think it is. The only Logia that seems like it might be weaker is Caribou’s weird Swamp Logia, but we honestly haven’t seen much of that and at present it seems like a ghetto version of Blackbeard’s power, which is extremely powerful.
Lol. I don’t think he show back up just to have Luffy show up his new power considering that the Kraken already did that and Oda does extremely well when it comes to reusing people, even if Eneru did get a cover story.
Oh, stop being melodramatic. That’s like saying fiction is the antithesis of your existence given that literally the only difference between fan fiction and “regular” fiction is that the latter is published and former most often manifests as a “shared universe” thing. Even then it’s kind of hazy because of quite a few (good) published fiction works being derived off common fairy tales and mythology like Wicked or Fables.
Otherwise, I concur. “Sturgeon’s Law” and all that.
Just because 90% (more like 95%, I’d say) of it is like that, doesn’t mean that all of it is. I think having worked at a bookstore made appreciate fanfiction even more than I already did (since I too didn’t really pay any mind before then) given a lot of crap I saw not only published, but become popular. I don’t think we’d disagree if I said that even some of the crappy fanfictions are still better than shit like Twilight and, basically, 99% of all modern romance novels.
Not saying that you have to read it regardless. I’m just saying that it’s an option for people who are genuinely bored, especially since pretty much all of the recommended ones on that page are devoid of romance, much less (homosexual) “slash”.
I’m curious, though. Did you at least read that page? I know that TVTropes and fan fiction are the devil, but you could at least see if some ideas spark your interest since I know you’ve talked about wanting to do fiction things of your own. (At least, I’m pretty sure I remember you having mentioned that several times and that I’m not getting you confused with Unreallystic.)
I’ll watch this when I come back.
