JIMMY LET’S GO
I went to FFC last night and nobody was there. I remember back when people would show up on weekends just to play. The 3s Cab feels 100x better than the SFxT cab. P360 > whatever the stiff stick in the SFxT cab is.
I wanna go sometime! JIMMY I SEE YOU ON GGPO MANNNNNNN =( Steve you wanna play or you at work/away from home?
w0rk til 8 then probably doing kof trials. or studying. maybe ill get on and do 3s. I just bought a tube tv. feels good man.
I’m gonna go out to eat then go to a show
So Pyrolee and Dr. Sub Zero was talking about Nebraska on his recent podcast WTF?
yeah because pyrolee lost to Datrick’s Alex when they came here to play Japan or w/e. They also said it was pretty poorly run lol
Hey I wasn’t here during those times I’m a newbie lol.
I wasn’t either, he just explained it pretty well on the show. Outside of that I heard a bit about Japan coming here to play 3s
Also around the last 30 minutes of their podcast they were talking about a 3rd Strike player named Gamegenie WTF?
I was around when that event went down, but I somehow missed it. With that said, I was always under the impression that the midwest was sort of the backwater of the global fighting game community, so I always thought it funny that players actually came here all the way from Japan. And a little sad that we apparently failed to impress. Oh well…
Appareantly, according to Keith and a few others we did better than California in that event. We won more matches than they did. Hell, Datrick and Cameron taught the JP’s some tricks with Alex that they didn’t know according to Rocha.
Ok, judging by pyrolee’s impression of the event, this was quite the understatement =P .
Perhaps I’m downplaying this, but I wonder how much of this can be attributed to the Cali peeps not giving a crap enough about the event to put in their best effort. Granted, I wouldn’t want to come out that far and leave w/o at least trying to get something to show for it, but still, given pyrolee’s account of the event…
I know from personal experience how good those two are, but Nebraska teaching Japan anything? Maybe, but you’ll have to excuse me of I’m a little skeptical .
Hahaha oh wow people are still bitter about losing to omaha players in 3s
Pyrolee did seem to be like “well I lost to this guy, but it was a crap event anyway,” so maybe he’s downplaying his own loss. Or maybe it was simply that we outnumbered the Cali folks. One explanation is as possible as the other, I guess : / .
Random Nebraska shout out of experience from Nebraska from Mike Z in this interview around the 10:00 mark.
MAXOUT EVENT IS UP FOR MAY 19th.
