Man I can’t wait til UMvC3 drops so I can actually play something with a tournament community again. How’s third strike going down there? Who all shows up nowadays?

3s has Cameron, Datrick, Jamarr, Chris, basically the old heads, Jamarr, Tyrider etc.
I think we are more common than we think, I’m sure there are plenty of “stream monsters” in the area that follow the scene, but don’t realize we have stuff like that going on in our very own state. That is one of the things I plan on working on in the near future, just trying to bring more awareness. I used to play fighting games all day every day (Mostly DoA2 and VF2, 4, and 5) until I ran out of people that could beat me and then I just stopped. Don’t want that to happen again lol.

I will be coming out to watch the matches tonight for sure, may have a friend or two with me as well. Trying to get them interested. 
Sometimes it works to get them interested, sometimes it doesn’t. Hopefully enough people bring a setup so we can split the signal onto the 47inch that is in the backroom for people to watch. Otherwise we might have to use that.
This Friday was a bit too soon for us, unfortunately… but the first week in December is looking like a go assuming things are still going on at that time.

Awesome! Wish I could have stayed longer, my migraine started to get worse (think the button noises did me in). Was nice to see another Sakura player at the event as well. Wish I could have spent more time watching all the matches. =/
Don’t worry about it. We have casuals on Mondays so if you want to stop by Coliseum, go for it.

hello, my friends and i have been looking to get into the local FGC, i have noticed that you guys have said casuals are on monday? this sounds awesome, but was wondering if you play umvc3. this is what we play the majority of the time and we are all xbox players. let me know if this presents a problem, maybe we can work something out.
