Yo, do most of you guys play on Xbox or PS3? The reason I ask, I may look into buying a few consoles, depending on what people play, for get togethers, tournies, etc.

It is really 60/40. At the tourneys most people bring PS3s. A lot of people have both. I play on Xbox.

Multiple setups so people aren’t just sitting around waiting for matches or whatever. One of the guys here does a get together every Tues where he streams games, has food and drinks, and multiple setups with different games going. I was hoping to maybe start something like that when I got there so everyone can level up on a regular basis.
Oh wow, that sounds great. I can bring my console too. We usually have hookups on Monday at Coliseum and even though we are in the back back backroom, and it is grungy, people do like hooking up there. I would much prefer a house but I have no say as I live with my parents and am only 18.
Yeah, I can’t guarentee having a full setup going when I get there, but hopefully by the time I get there it will be a work in progress. I’m hoping I get one of the off-base housing units with a basement as to have a decent size area so it won’t be so crowded. If not, I’m sure I can set things up in 2 rooms or something. We’ll see when the time comes.

I didn’t lose to the Sakura from out of state. Everybody else did. I got eliminated before I could play him.
sad day. looks like I won’t actually be able to make it up after all. School conflicts with everything these days.
Anyway, good luck to all the loyal supporters. I’m always happy to see the fighting game scene still alive in Omaha.
And if there is any recording going on, I would love to see how the SF4 and Third Strike matches turn out.
just wondering since we host monthly tournaments here in wichita, ks, so i just wanted to know how far out it is you guys go for tournaments, but maybe someday ill hopefully be up there just to see what the nebraska scene is like.
It’s not much really. I wish we had a different venue but who am I to complain? We have a lot of skilled players who know how to handle business. There are some players who do make the drive to KC. I believe we had 6 who went down for Screenland Showdown. Our tournament is Friday if you want me to let them know about the tourneys. Most of them don’t use SRK.
yeah our tournament is every second saturday of the month, which this one lands on the 8th, just after your tournament, maybe sometime in the future there will hopefully be a possibility of you guys coming down to one of ours
Saturdays, eh? Maybe you can catch some of the guys coming down, but for myself I work every Saturday and Sunday 11AM-8PM. Hopefully you can get some Omaha guys. I’ll inform them.
