just read this on kotaku.com not sure what to think about the new characters. i do like the “fat” megaman but the rest have lost me. for a game i was hoping to be good but with each announcement it’s causing me to lower my expectations greatly.
What I find to be the most gross part about Megaman is that they used the animations for MvC2 Throw and Launcher. This is triple trolling.

I haven’t been following up on the tekken v cap at all…But pacman seriously? Hopefully this game is crap so i can just focus on one game KOF…
i get it why they put in a “mascot” but they should have chosen Ms. Pacman. everyone knows she wears the pants in the family…or the bow at least
They’re console exclusive characters. They didn’t waste any development time or resources, except the ones that Sony bought with their stacks of cold, hard, cash. There’s just no logical leap from seeing these characters, and lowering your expectations of the game.
I kindly disagree. Like beyond what Sony paid them for what do you think is jokelike? Gems? For all the fgc rage about them, casual players generally seem to think they’re interesting. Pandora Mode? Less gimmicky than X-Factor, hell, it’s less gimmicky than Ultras were in Vanilla.
Also Inafune was in on Bad Box Art Megaman, so this wasn’t a shot at him at least.

It seems to me that you’re reasoning to kindly disagree only adds to my opinion. and that’s all I’m saying is it’s my opinion that the content being added whether it’s from Sony or Microsoft has lowered my expectations for the game…and I actually like the bad box art megaman. seemed rather nostalgic to me.
I just had really high hopes for the game but i don’t anymore. That makes me a sad panda…
Yeah, I’m not trying to attack you or even start an argument, but rather dispel this horrible concept that has seemed to follow SFxT ever since Gems were announced of everyone only paying attention to negative comments about the game. This is the heirarchy as I’ve observed it.
Casual fans: Oh Gems, that could be pretty cool
Your average fighting game fan: Eh. Gems.
Your vocal fighting game internet poster: Capcom ruined everything ever. Thanks Obama.
And this wouldn’t be a problem, except there is more interaction between the second and third group, which causes the second group to become down on the idea by proxy. And then by the time we actually learned more about the gems and their impact in the game and had people like Clockwork and Maximillian going “Oh, hey this is actually pretty cool, and really great for getting new players into fighting games” people’s opinions were already too badly influenced by unknowns and random predictions.
So again, I’m not trying to belittle your opinion, just trying to provide a counterbalance. When I’m trying to prove a point my words are usually too strong, something I’m trying to work on.
You two should settle this at Mother Russia by playing a real game like KOFXIII…

Okay so since there seems to be a majority interest in SCV. I will bring it today. Jordan don’t bring your PS3 today. It saves me time and I won’t have to copy my save file and log in to my account on your PS3 to unlock characters. You might wanna bring your copy of KOF XIII though Jordan.
As per request I will also bring the Dreamcast along with Moreo Justice Gakuen! aka Project Justice, CvS2, etc… Along the same lines my PS3 is the 1st gen so anyone is welcome to bring PS 1 / 2 games if they want. As long as the twins bring the stick then we should have two Dreamcast sticks. If not then I’ll head to there house and snatch it up real quick.
