Well it could have been worst ^_^. Plus, we learned a bit more about some of his other pokes. Besides, if I tried to counter pick again with Bison, I probably would have lost.
Heh, it happens. Just gotta mix it up a bit. Where yeah want us to post’em up? And who plays on a PS3? Lol
Oh and a side note, we might want to change the first page a bit (with all of the info).
It helps to look up certain players that main the character I’m trying to learn. Usually watching they’re approach against whoever helps. If only you had an Xbox, or I had a PS3. I’d totally lend yeah a hand with any match-up.
So I checked out this new little game store called “Medias” on 4th ave yesterday. They’re putting in a gaming room for tournaments and such which will contain tvs and systems, and it could be a potential spot to host the fight nights. The upsides are that they would provide systems and tvs, it’s a game store so we wouldn’t wear out our welcome, and it might be a way to bring them some business so they don’t have to close up shop and so more people would show up. Downsides are that it’s small and I’m not sure how late they’re open. Also, although it was pretty quiet there the other day, annoying people tend to hang around game stores. More annoying than at OCC anyway, if you ask me.
aburn is in Seattle right now, so I’m not sure when he’ll be able to get over there, but if I talk to him anytime soon I’ll make sure he knows about it.
Ok that “Medias” place is pretty awesome, they are basically trying to be the new game crazy buying and selling old and new games (they had alot of old games too) the game room their setting up will be ready in a month so I’ll check back with them then. He seemed kinda iffy about a crowd of people hanging out watching people play but I explained how SF tournaments work and he seemed pretty cool with it. He also encouraged us to stream our games there as he wants to set up a T1 connection. I doubt this shop will last cause I just don’t understand how he’s gonna make enough money to support the shop but we should take advantage of it while we can, in a month we should go and play there at least for one tournament. Speaking of which when he runs the tournaments he’ll take a bit off the top to support himself (which I agree with) so our entry might be higher but we’d also get more for winning (the entry may be like 10$ per) He also said he’d refer anyone interested in Street fighter to us until we start playing there. So good shit to Drybones for finding it hopefully this will work out.
Whats up guys. Sorry haven’t been able to make it out to Olympia lately. Been hella busy with school during your tournaments. Portland will be hosting two tournaments next weekend (not this weekend). Hope you guys can make it out.
Hey, I was checking out some hitbox data for rog, and found these pics of the straight ultra hit and the upper hit. Like I was talking to some of you about last night, when you juggle off a headbutt in super, press nothing for the first couple hits and kicks for the rest of the hits, you’re less likely to drop the last couple of hits in the corner. These days I only hold kick for the first hit if I feel like I was late with the ultra and that I might whiff. As you can see, the upper hits a little lower or bigger or something than the straight. But pops them up higher.
Also, I’m Alex and my PSN is Drybones. Kevin and Vincent, please post your PSNs… I’m gonna add everyone later today.
Also, let me just say this. If the washer inside your joystick comes loose and you need to glue it down, don’t get any fucking glue in the socket itself. I figured that out the hard way and had to spend a bunch of time with acetone removing superglue.
lol you still haven’t? That’s pretty bad, but you are busy these days =P. And yeah, everyone hates playing against Sim. I’d totally play Adon more, if I was confident in doing FADC into Ultra2
