So, now that Bry-Man's has his housing secured, we now have a place to play fo sho!
Reminder: These are the official, and new, rules:
Game Rules
-Tournament matches will be best 2/3 rounds, best 2/3 games.
-99 Second Rounds (Duh)
-Grand Finals will all be 3/5 unless the players playing agree to 2/3.
-All characters and Ultras allowed.
-After first game, loser is allowed to switch character, Ultra, or both. Winner is allowed to switch Ultra, but must do so before the loser switching characters picks his or her Ultra. In other words, Evo rules apply.
Tournament Rules/Facts
-Brackets will be randomized for the first three RanBats. After that, I will start seeding players in the brackets by previous tournament placings.
-There will be between 7-9 total RanBats, depending on scheduling, availability of players, and availability of venue.
-There is a $5 entry fee. $1 goes to the venue, and $4 goes into the tournament pot. The pot will be distributed 70/20/10 to first, second, and third place at the end of each tournament.
-Only top 5 of each tournament will get points this season. Points will be distributed in this way :
1st- 6pts.
2nd- 5pts.
3rd- 3pts.
4th- 2pts.
*5th- 1pt.
*5th place will always be a tie, therefore both players tying for 5th will get 1 point.
-The reason for keep track of ranking points (besides to show the best players) is because at the end of the season in May, there will be HUGE and SPECTACULAR prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, all taken care of by me, as a thank you for participating all season long.
