Old school vhs interest?

Thanks for the links man. Now I can actually keep track of what tapes I have and what I’m missing.

:wonder:

:annoy:

As far as I know, things are at a dead end currently, and if you want something to happen, you can try scouring eBay or other sites directly, but this thread seems to be done and bumping it doesn’t help anything that I’m aware of.

edit: as seen later, various archaeological efforts are underway, but randomly bumping threads doesn’t help this effort.

Sorry for resurrecting this ancient thread, but I figured not enough non-Marvel heads visit Preppy’s video thread regularly. I recently supplied Preppy with a ton of old, once lost tournament footage, which he was gracious enough to take his time to rip and make available for us. This includes previous ECCs that were never released before, footage from the infamous EVO 2002 ST Black bracket, and random 8 on the Break tournaments from years ago.

For the direct capture stuff, it might be hard to figure out who’s playing who. I’m gonna try to find the old results pages for those years to hopefully connect the dots a little easier. I’m sure some of the guys that placed in these events still either post or lurk here, so please feel free to help out as well.

Here are the results from ECC2000: http://web.archive.org/web/20010124152000/www.thebreak.net/arena/ecc2kr.htm

edit Not the official results page, but it’s best I can find - ECC4:

If anyone else has more ancient footage to share, please feel free to do so.

So I kinda stopped up loading these cause I thought they were all up loaded some were on the net but if there are still tapes which you guys want me to up load I will start up again. If there are any of you guys in the bayarea I would be happy to hand these over to someone with more time or a better rig rig to cap these.

What’s missing? And I got hostspace if you need it. Direct download too.

Thats my question what is missing. I know the SF3NG tape never got put up anywhere but I thought all the other tapes existed in some form or another online.

I just read the first post:

I don’t recall the 2I Austin tourney, A3 SHGL tourney or A2 Sunnyvale summer mini-tourney.
I put up the A3 USA vs. Japan 2000 and MSH Gamest (link maybe lost; I can re-upload this).
